my kies says 'this version of device cannot be updated'... y ar? i ald tick the 'Latest firmware auto download'..

You cant because your country sales code [CSC:KC1 (MM1)] is from singapore.. Malaysia is XME..
Try changing your CSC to receive the update..

i've tried upgrading my ace to 2.3. it's dowloaded to 100% n it's still downloading. is this normal? huhuhu

for kies its normal. either you have towait few more minutes or you get a time out. if that happens have to update it all over again.

owh. but its been downloading for over an hour. n the progress bar showed that it has dloaded over 1gb of files. im afraid that i did smthing wrong...

i update 8times my ace before successful. 4times internet connection lost when dwnload, 2times i lost my usb connection, n 1times i forgot to insert sd card (-.-). lucky nothing bad happen to my ace n i successful update.

im trying to update my ace again now. please please work.....

keep going..i oso upgrade about 6-7 times oni success..damn stress..now i success upgraded to 2.3GB and rooted..dont know wat to do now..no more project

anybody using the cm7 kang build rom? i cannot find the fm radio inside, and unable to apply fix no 2 dated 4/10/11...my ace just cannot boot...

succesfully upgraded my ace. yay! finally! took me like 5 tries. x_x

If not mistaken, the radio and something else is not working in CM7 Kang or behradGH. Read their first page mar.

u wait or restart the process all other a again.
i had the same prob with u. then i end task kies, until now im afraid to update again. scared brick. lol

why i get initial setup incomplete? after completed updating the kies...?

oh.. i just pulled out my USB.
then tried updating again. success in two tries.

also, in case it was disturbing the update process (since the usb kept connecting and disconnecting) i took out the sd card & sim card.

I wonder if there's any Ace users experience ur ace went sleep to death.. my ace happened more than 3 times since i bought it early last month. push the power button and it won't start. sometimes i plug in the charger before it responded, and today the same thing happen but i take out the battery and put it back before my ace come to life again.. Does GB update solve this issues??

Added on October 8, 2011, 2:49 amcompleted an update on my ace just now, the question is, what are the things that won't work on 2.3.4 instead of old froyo?? i just discover that screen capture (hold back key+home button) won't work anymore.. anyone??
