I used to use 3G watchdog, but i noticed it kinda drained my battery because it was always running in the background?, uninstalled it. Try Data Counter Widget.

if it batt life is like SGS2, than the SGS2 must be sucking the juice more than Sensation..Sensation only having 1520 mAh standard batt while SGS2 is hving 1650 mAh..

to extend batt life is to get higher capacity batt..for Sensation, there's Mugen Power 1800 mAh and Anker 1900 mAh to choose from...
*
is the Mugen Power and Anker batt reliable? blush.gif

have you been using the Mugen/Anker before?... do you to know how much extra time it can provide with the 1800..

Based off what I get from forumers in xdadevelopers, 1800mah (Mugen) or 1900mah (Anker) will give you on average 3-4 hours more of battery life for the former and 4-5 hours more with the latter.

But my battery drain on this phone is still silly despite all my efforts, I suspect its more of an applications/software/firmware/kernel issue than a hardware issue....if you manage to get standby drain of below 50ma with everything off you're doing good.

For your information, so far only Battery Monitor Widget is correctly reporting charges/discharges seeing it got updated. The rest is a little wonky at best >_<.

it is all about customisation when comes with spb shell 3D, with the price that they are charging i will not go for it since i am pretty happy with htc sense. it's all up to individual, some prefer eye candy while some prefer smooth interface / performance, some even prefer stripped down and running on pure android.

i foresee the battery performance of ARHD V.1.1.7 is improving on my 2nd charge cycle. off from plug since 2230 yesterday, been idling until 0650 this morning and still remains 100%. sync exchange mail, gmail, fb for 5 mins via 3G and 15 mins music playing, battery is down to 93% now. rclxms.gif

@lcs87: high 5!

from aria to sensation, i couldnt give up on htc sense for 3rd party launcher. just love the mail widget, calender, location and music widget.

BTW, here's my quick update on 1st charge cycle running on ARHD V.1.1.7:
100% to 20% in 13 hrs 52 mins - 1 hr 55 mins screen up time, 3 mins voice calls, 1 hr 59 mins wifi, 3 mins maps, +-30 mins mobile data /browsing, 15 mins music playing. manual syncing of exchange mail, gmail, weather.
*
true indeed, the mail and music widget is a charm on Sense.. owh, that weather animation too... fuuuuuuu i really miss HTC now.. SGS2 dosent have the UI kick at all.. i tested playing with my friends Desire HD running latest RCMix3D and its awesome T___T ... it really feels genuine, worth the money... its not all about the hardware anyway, the what u feel good at when ur using it as a daily driver

lol, the optimum for desire HD is around 2-6ma, cannot compare at all to Sensation. But then again Desire HD was released much earlier than Sensation, modders have already achieved more or less optimisation with the device. Sensation, however, is still quite new so I will be expecting more in the future =D

A solution has been found, seems to work according to the responses there.

can be used for sensation as well, if you read the replies to the thread sensation users benefit too.

No harm in trying if you have the problem right?

damn! Thanks for the tip! My touch screen now flawless! Didn't have much problem before but can see very obvious improvements.
Make sure to choose "Super Optimize". I think this 1 is very important.

Please put this on 1st page, very useful indeed!
