While we really like the AMOLED+ display for its deep blacks, it also has major flaws:
- Severe black crush (loss of shadow details in dark scenes) when power saving is disengaged (which is the only way to obtain decent brightness)
- Greenish white, which becomes bluish after a few weeks of operation
- Oversaturated greens
- Loss of brightness after a few weeks of use
- Yellowish areas on the screen produced by the deterioration of AMOLED cells through heat, particularly prominent for gamers and overclockers

ic, thanks bro i will research more into this. could it be a random bad luck faulty unit? in xda forum so many complaints bout it. sigh.
*
believe it or not..they actually exaggarate everything...dont go and read up on the problems there..they made it 10x worst..i guess their tolerance for some minor issue is very minimal..

hi guys, i'm currently deciding to buy a new hp in the coming weeks, and doing some research here. it comes down to sensation or s2.

i looked around on the net and found that sensation has touch screen related issues. is this a prominent issue? whats worse it seems to be a hardware related issue.

here's an example.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/08/29/ti...-potential-fix/

myself i prefer htc because of sense, but this touch screen problem i been reading about really drops the ball for htc. any of u guys here have this problem b4?
*
As far as I know of the forumers here with a Sensation there's hardly anyone with said problem with the exception of a few people. I didn't see the issue being brought up recently so I'm assuming its been resolved. Personally I've never had the problem. Although reading on XDA the problem is somehow related to the touchscreen not being grounded properly (the contact points to the aluminium back plate not good) hence the excess charge not being discharged properly causing touchscreen issues. As usual, if that happens, there's the warranty.

Do everybody face battery drain on this device?
*
Define "fast battery drain" brother, do you use your phone a lot?, to surf internet?, Screen brightness on auto?, Disabled mobile data always-on and adjusted your auto-sync functions yet?, calibrated your battery?, are you on Stock ROM?, are you overclocked?.....

I can ask a ton of questions which is battery related actually.

Do you know about this thing called the Internet?...What about mobile phone stores?, ever heard of those?...Hell I heard there's a new trend nowadays, it's called Reading.

Official Recommended Retail Price is RM 1,999, decrease RM 200 from RM 2199. HTC Evo 3D is currently at RM 2199.

You'll find them in stores ranging from RM 1500-RM1999.

yeah i wish i didn't read the xda stuff lol. i was so ready to get a sensation over a s2 yesterday, since i'm a big fan of sense ui.

then my fren show me the xda link with sensation touch screen issues. terus cut steam lol.

still, i'm only getting either one, early next month, so i still have time to decide. thanks for the clarification, azel and lcs87.

oh and to niko, i read bout the s2 amoled+ problem too but its not as much of a usability problem like touch screen issue.

For existed application, sometimes i use manage application and try to move to SD card, but still got some data left in phone memory ..

and if i install a lot apps and it look like eating up my ram a lot.
when i check running services look like a lot is running even task manager show closed.
