I read a lot of threat about radio. Still unclear about it. What is the best way to choose radio? There are many version:



Also I read there are different version for all different network such as cingular, at-t, telus, so on. Since previously my phone network's is at-t, so do I have to flash to at-t radio or latest version radio maybe 12.54 for a9191.

latest radio is 26.14 as could be found here

additionally radio versions are quoted after the underscore "_" not before it; so it is 26.09 for what you have said not 12.54.

just remember that if you are aosp roms (example miui), no need to flash ril. if you are on sense based roms (most of the others), you would have to flash ril. there is no best radios. you would hvae to try it for yourself. enjoy...

Check mavericksam's link above, use the new radio. I use that radio also. good radio version atm.

i just root my dhd using ace kitt and it works perfectly..then i use android revo hd rom but...i didnt wipe n format the phone...so its quite laggy that time...

so i try to format from recovery mode on ace hardware kitt...
choose format (except sd)...then after finished it...try to reboot...

here's the problem...
i cant enter to my phone at all...
hang on htc logo and some more without quitely brilliant...
then hang over thre...

need help here...

Hi.. ICS works like it should atm. Yes, camera still defected. But I can live without camera, no problem. Quite smooth but sometimes got 2 3 times lag when scrolling. ICS nice weh, should try. Been using the latest one for theee days edy.



can I know why did you use AAHK to boot to recovery..?
AAHK afaik only for downgrading, goldcard, etc etc. Which recovery you use at the moment..?

I think u have encounter bootloop.

Really ah bootloop..? Bootloop if his/her device just reboot many time right after splash screen. But its ok. Let him try.

i think your phone is empty... as you format the system... there is nothing... that's why you where hanging on the htc logo...

try to flash again the rom to your phone... the recovery should still be working...

Hi Mavericksam,

I got CynogenRom already after a long fight.

Then I try to install this new version of radio 26.14 by using AceHackKit. From the option no.(3) I paste the downloaded 26.14 and rename it as rom.zip. Connect the usb then I start hack-ace terminal. Choose Option Menu no.(3), success...sucess but when reboot it just stuck on 'htc welcome screen' . I'm sweating right now. Is this perm-bricking, how to get over this problem?



I tried to access AceHackKit again and this time I choose option no.(2) Install ATT OTA Update Radio. All success but when reboot still on HTC welcome screen.

Need help please..

did you just flash the RIL too? you don't need to flash the RIL for Cynogen Roms (or perhaps i should say must not!).
secondly, it is weird how you are flashing your radio like how you are flashing a rom in. that is so wrong. sorry i haven't used a ace hack kit before. so i don't know what are the menu items you are referring to (just guessing from you renaming the zip to rom.zip.
There are already certain methods discussed on the link i provided on how to flash your radio. i am not too sure why you deviate from it so the best answer for you is to reflash your rom and then your radio. that is if you can still go to recovery. even if you can just go to bootloader, it should be good for you.
just remember to do full wipe too.

Also tried option no.(4) Clean-run any of the above steps, but still same outcome. Stuck.
