I'm trying to root my DesireHD. I real many tutorials, many risk involve. Really afraid it might get my phone bricked. hohoho..


Those who have rooted their phone, does it really need the 'volume down' button to works while performing root? Coz my volume down button didn't work currently.

Is there any option to root or to get into 'Recovery mode' without pressing volume down button while switching it on?

instead of using volume rocker, i think you can touch the screen.

To root, just use Advance Ace Hack Kit. Check 1st page there.

Yes, currently using it. So far so good but still can't use as a daily rom imo. But this one is smooth.

Hey guys, having a problem with my DHD. I can't hear anyone on the earpiece when making a call. If I put it on loudspeaker, I can hear them loud and clear.

Anyone had this issue before? Any idea why? I'm gonna try reflashing my rom now to see if it works. Just worried it's a hardware failure or something..

you can get stock rom on at XDA la. Or you can try Advance Ace Hack Kit, got such feature to downgrade back.

Ooops, forgot to mention. I think it's most probably a hardware fault. I'm still on ARHD 5.2.6 iinm. Haven't flashed a new rom in awhile. No apps recently installed as well(as far as I can remember). It just happened out of the blue. Started today.

If no one here has any ideas, I'm going to try a full reset soon. If that doesn't work, back to HTC for me lol. Just one question, I'll have to restore the original rom, yes? I don't have a backup. Sifus, I need your help

I think hardware fault also.. But, try to flash other rom first. See solve or not.

Yeap, hardware failure. Tried flashing RCMix3d and still the same problem. So now I have to restore back to the original firmware right? Guide me sifu

hi guys, i am currently using ARHD 6.1.3, if i want to update to the latest ARHD 6.2, all i need to do is put the file into my sd card and flash it in recovery mode? do i need to flash a new radio? btw, i install the bludHD teme too, will it make any difference? thanks!
