hello to the senior who been using this phone longer than me..

I just got this phone from US, which is previously registered with at&t telco. Its called HTC Inspire 4G over there. I unlock it already and register with digi data plan.
So far it works great.

but there is something wrong with the mobile internet connection. I only got 'E' indicator which means edge, and never got '3G'. and i notice that my connection really slow compare to my friend's iphone4.

I got this setting from DigiOCS. Set it up accordingly. The connection speed is unbelievable slow!

Does anybody here experience the same problem with me? Can someone post their diginet setting. Im using digi48.

Please any solution or suggestion are greatly appreaciated.

Im from KL area. Suppose this area got 3G full bar, but I only got 'E' indicator. I believe means EDGE.
Sometime 'G' when outside KL such as Taiping, Perak. Tried friend's digi simcard. Same outcome..Got 'E' only..

I think it should be the same A9191 US model and Malaysia model. Are they any apps to auto configure. Sent SETUP to 2000 already but they not recognized this phone.

I'm trying to root my DesireHD. I real many tutorials, many risk involve. Really afraid it might get my phone bricked. hohoho..


Those who have rooted their phone, does it really need the 'volume down' button to works while performing root? Coz my volume down button didn't work currently.

Is there any option to root or to get into 'Recovery mode' without pressing volume down button while switching it on?

Also I read there are different version for all different network such as cingular, at-t, telus, so on. Since previously my phone network's is at-t, so do I have to flash to at-t radio or latest version radio maybe 12.54 for a9191.

I got CynogenRom already after a long fight.

Then I try to install this new version of radio 26.14 by using AceHackKit. From the option no.(3) I paste the downloaded 26.14 and rename it as rom.zip. Connect the usb then I start hack-ace terminal. Choose Option Menu no.(3), success...sucess but when reboot it just stuck on 'htc welcome screen' . I'm sweating right now. Is this perm-bricking, how to get over this problem?



I tried to access AceHackKit again and this time I choose option no.(2) Install ATT OTA Update Radio. All success but when reboot still on HTC welcome screen.

Need help please..

Also tried option no.(4) Clean-run any of the above steps, but still same outcome. Stuck.

I rename the radio_12.65.60.29_26.14.08.28_M.zip to rom.zip as in AceHackKit guide. Not flashing the RIL.zip. It seems so simple step to follow. Really thought its working..huhu
Anyway I will try that but waiting for response from Syuki, Maybe he familiar with this AdvanceAceHackKit.

I got this AAHK from androidforum.com. BTW I able to get into recovery mode and wipe data, so it come back alive again..fuuhhhh.......such a relief...

I already download link provided by Syuki. Currently download HTCSync. I will follow this guide.

hmm..but I didn't notice the different using this radio. Maybe clear reception.

Does anybody here know about PropEditor? Back to my first post I have this data reception problem. I thought after get rooted those problem will be solved.

Still couldn't get H+ indicator when in 3g area. Still E.

I read many post about AT-T lock or limit these but with propeditor, user can change this setting to get best/ superb data connection. Install the speed test to check how it is after apply new setting.

Is anybody here using this propeditor? What is your best setting to be able to get H+?
