Radio is some part of telephony service (like a service network etc etc) for your phone. For htc device, they called it Radio. If Samsung, they called it Modem (i guess  hmm.gif ).

If your phone don't have radio, your phone is just a brick that you can throw to a cat.  laugh.gif Meaning your telco signal, wifi signal, bluetooth etc etc is running by radio. Something like that la. If someone else know how to describe more, please help.. LOL.  biggrin.gif

*
That's pretty much what Radio is.. from what I read on the forums.. this is what I learned about Radio..

Its like another CPU program that works independently, only for the telco signal, wifi signal, bluetooth etc etc which makes up for the core phone applications.

So we cannot have applications that will hog all the cpu and memory til you cannot receive calls, cannot receive sms... so thats why the radio is there.... so that even when you are hogging all memory for applications and stuffs.. when there's a call coming in, you can answer (or of course cancel it tongue.gif )

BTW, me yesterday restore back to TB Fusion 3d.. From Virtuous Unity V1.31..

For me, TB3d is still the smoothest 3D rom, but only one problem....

even if i have oc daemon i still can use setcpu right? to oc.
*
Why wan use SetCPU? Better stick with OC Daemon.. much more stable..

Last time pakai SetCPU, want to reach 1.2GHz oso sometimes keeps crashing.. rclxub.gif

Now use OC Daemon.. max put 1.45GHz, stable, no problem thumbup.gif

Good morning guys!!

Im still stuck with TB Fusion 3D.. For me, its still the best Sense ROM thumbup.gif

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

One question though..

Honeysense 8.0, got 3D Carousel or not? For me.. I really like that feature, and I really cannot go back to without carousel... tongue.gif

If got 3d Carousel.. then I might want to try ler Honeysense 8.0 brows.gif

Looking at HERE, from the 4th screenshot, like got 3D carousel..
But then when reading the features, saying if want 3D, go install Honey3D rclxub.gif

honey3d vs honeysense which one is smoother?
performance-wise?
better for games?

Confirm Honeysense lor smile.gif

Its like comparing Windows 7 full animation feature vs Windows 7 all animation disabled...

Surely all animation disabled will perform better smile.gif

u meant this one rite?
12.59.60.26U_26.11.04.21_M

looking to flash a new radio. my reception here SUCKS even after flashing matching RIL (on CM7 Hydrogen summore). Are you on digi? thx notworthy.gif
*
Yep, 26.11.04.21 smile.gif

Flash lor... Flash the RIL as well..

Just fyi, the RIL mcm sama with 26.09.xx.xx.. and previously I *was* using 26.09.xx.xx

but after flashing the RIL, then only can feel the difference..

But if you go and check RIL (getprop "gsm.version.ril-impl"), it will show the RIL of 26.09... weird though tongue.gif
