Just to change oil filter??? Labour=RM90, filter=RM25?? So total is RM110+++....just to change filter...hehe...just buy the parts from Proton and change the filter outside lar....maybe charge you RM 5 labour only...

5k can do it at outside, no need always go back service center. just find the same oil filter , they don't know you done 5k at ouside one.

i service at 6K la... 1K already service... add 5K mileage.. should service at 6K not 5K lo..

i use semi shell helix.. hehee... after service.. rave is very easy to reach.. i no change filter. if you no change filter, 4L is enough. when i service at SC then only do all...

actually my car now 4k only, plan to service now , cause my house store room still got 1 bottle helix ultra , and use semi sync oil for new car , feel not comfortable , lol

Actually, i guess the price only, shouldn't be very expensive gua...i think the oil filter for my Savvy is just RM12...so i tembak the figure only, the ring thing is quiet cheap also i believe. You just asked outside workshop how much they charge for doing this lor.

O ring is for the oil drain plug nut. Not oil filter therefore no need to change. Just remember to top up if oil spills out when changing filter.

the ring is the gasket. that is for the screw that closes the hole where u drain the engine oil. few dollars only, definitely less than 5.

do you all know eon sell how much? for that ring and oil filter. or do you all know which shop sell cheaper?

gasket i forgot, but the oil filter, RM 30 ++ at proton....

outside can get for RM 20 bucks.....

But if buy from outside, dunno really original or pirated wan...got pirated oil filter or not??

The RM2.50 o-ring for the drain plug? No. All other gaskets should not be reused either. Never trust a mechanic who claims can reuse.
