Yes. Must pay. Basically, EWP is a load of bullshit...it only covers things like engine, gearbox and a few other things. All other stuff not covered. That's why i didn't even bother with getting extra 2 years EWP for my Inspira....waste money only...lessons learnt from my Savvy.

I usually pump 230kpa front and 210 rear. Cold pressure.

Since pump is only 2km from my house, I usually pump 235-240 front and 215-220 go directly from house. At longer distance, at at least another 10kpa.

Cold pressure is when you tyre is cold such as in the morning before you drive out. Hot pressure is usually under hot sun or after some driving distance where the air heats up.

So my intended cold pressure is 230 / 210 front /rear (prefer slightly more air, still within acceptable cold pressure range, better driveability). Measured with tyre gauge from house before I drive.

Abt 2-3km drive would heat up the tyre, so add to 240 / 220 pressure. It was not recommended to pump tyre after long run since the pressure will not be accurate. If you have to, add AT LEAST 20kpa to your intended pressure...for me it will be 250 front and 230 respectively.

When you measured again in the morning. It should be abt 230 / 210 respectively. Always prefer to pump slighly more coz if need to be, i can release air easily coz if pump not enuf, have to go station again, very mafan.

Don't pump more than 6 psi extra than the tyre cold pressure spec.
Won't explode wan lah but your tyre will wear off faster.

now all want to prepare duit raya.
i still remember my family car's window got smashed during ramadhan, and plenty of 3-man-gang police roadblock at many secluded area.
actually those small group police block is illegal, or not official.
u can sue them back but who want to do that?
*
Technically speaking.. Whenever the police want to conduct a roadblock, A top ranking police officer must be there to supervise. Top ranking as in the rank of the police is at least 3 stars or 1 crown and above ( the pangkat on the shoulder strap there). Then only its legal.. All those 3 man ones are technically illegal. So if they were to insist on issuing me a saman or asking for more bribe. I would surely shoot them on the spot ady..

QUOTE(haur @ Aug 11 2011, 11:16 AM)
Guys, what pressure are you guys having for your wheels? I'm using 35 psi for their stock tires.
Just had 5K service last weekend, but I can smell the engine oil burning smell each time i get out from the car! I checked the level, it's way above the High level. Any idea what's going on?
*
best pressure is 230kpa 33-34psi front and 220kpa or 32psi and below for the back.
Anything above u will have a lot of uneven wear and tear on the tires.

QUOTE(dorinyeah @ Aug 11 2011, 11:18 AM)
haha... then my right foot is the best throttle controller in the world!!
same design as Michael Schumacher
[attachmentid=2380248]

learn it from Xan la... take out ur steering lock and shout "apa lu nak?? jom pergi tepi, kami settle sana!"
*
haha.. If do that.. even illegal roadblock also i will end up for dunno how many years in jail.. If in JB can do that lah.. Got big shot cover me there.. In KL, unless i have flip license plate then I wont do it lah..

QUOTE(haur @ Aug 11 2011, 11:43 AM)
I know its something burning smell. I smell before engine oil burning smell from the old car. Nobody knows about the suitable PSI for stock tires here?
*
When ur engine is cold (cold means u can put ur hand directly on the extractor) then u check if the engine oil level. iF its higher than FULL then u are in trouble.

Black is very nice.. Best chick magnet color.. biggrin.gif Although u need to wash it regularly. But with the correct polishing and waxing technique and product used, it looks like a show car..

Nope.. The EWP covers only the main components of the engine and gearbox.. If its a wear and tear item its not covered. So if u expect ur car to breakdown due to lousy engine or transmission with the 2-5years time frame.. Better off selling the car away and getting something more reliable than just paying extra for something not necessary.
