PJ/KL area, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of shops selling it. Try the Samsung outlet in 1U. Getting it from Maxis is pointless unless you want to get the plan as well, and from what people have been posting in the thread, Maxis outlets are out of stock.

If you want to buy by installments, you can try Seng Heng/SengQ, but it would appear that they're out of stock as well.

As for interesting apps... I think you can just give him the phone. If he's a tech geek type he'll be ignoring you for the rest of the week after that.

downloaded Lite'ning Rom wallpapers.apk and intend to use it as lockscreen

any advice how to use it? i tried installing but all i can find under lockscreen is the default wallpapers on SGS2 and Camera Gallery..

I accidentally deleted my maps apk under system file. How do i restore it back?

accidentally dropped my SGS2 on the roadside as i was petting my cat
(placed the phone on my lap)
and tadaaaa, phone dropped and bottom corners flattened abit.
i was using the Chelsea FC snap on casing.
i think i need to change casings....

i wanted to move but pressed delete instead i dont think there is maps in market? downloading back original rom now, sigh. I dont have the usb jig yet so dont want to flash to other roms yet.

i see well if not rooted cant use market enabler. need to use that to be able to download google apps.

first day with XXKG3, rooted with CF root for KG2..

Battery consumption feel better, and now the video player can play in portrait mode as well.

Hmm, i tried to use market enabler but seems still the same.

Ip4 i don't know la. cause never use it before. but my iphone 3g definitely last longer than galaxy s2.

you need root access to replace the map manually anyway, with or without the jig you are gonna need to flash either kernel or rom.

i tried replacing manually but it didnt work.

lol can you guys stop comparing with old models? what does the 3g got anyway? the iphone 4 didnt even have anything to be proud of. huh!

I have to admit that apple have done a good job with its phone and iOS. Its silky smooth compared to SGS though its hardware is slightly inferior. Hate how its so expensive though

Flash the latest Darky base XXKG3 firmware with darkyrom2 tool i download from market i can uninstall all samsung apps from my phone so it is like basic stock rom with no samsung bloatware apps

thats why we call them overpriced. features are not standard with the price. even now iphone 4 16gb is expensive than sgs2. wtf lol a phone released last year like that.

User experience overall is still smoother and more uniform on the i4, I gotta admit. Plus the market and some stuff you can get from JBing that even Android lacks (uhm Activatorrrrrrrrr!), and theming was easier too.

But yes, it's overpriced, main reason I didn't get another one after I lost mine. Plus I initially wanted to try Android so I could diss it, turns out life in the green camp is not so bad after all - so I'm staying put for now.

Unless the i5 is UBER magical lol.
