Hi all!

I've been planning to buy a 14' laptop & 1 model really caught my eye; ASUS a43sj-vx313.

I intend to do assignments (mostly word n ppt), surfing n play some games.

My question is since the laptop come with GT 520, can i play FIFA on it?

N i also would like to ask about the performance of the cpu, intel B940; in term of simple tasks like watching movie/video, doing my assignments, surfing n playing Fifa manager..

Really appreciate ur feedbacks n if any of my questions sound silly, pls forgive me because I have a very little knowledge about computer.

TQ.

b940 should be able to handle basic usage and simple tasks, regarding the gpu, you can refer to here

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Game...ds.13849.0.html

it will give you ideas on how the gpu would perform in real life. seems like gt520m has no problem handling fifa 11 on highest setting

thanks!

n 1 more thing, i know that b940 doesn't has turbo boost, hyperthreading n all.. but will b940's performance be vastly inferior compared to i3 (sb), in term of performing the simple tasks?

TQ.

i3 is relatively better but then, but pretty much the difference is almost not apparent when performing simple tasks

Looking for light notepad for daily use. Need to bring from class to class (working as teacher).

- Normal MsOffice work
- Internet
- Some light Photoshop
- No games but some internet game (facebook smile.gif )

As cheap as possible. Budget below Rm1500 only.

Check at a shop, Lenovo G475 look nice. But good or not? My technician said have bad experience with Lenovo. He suggest dell or Asus.

Yes, for you usage the spec of Lenovo G475 is perfect.
For ASUS you can have an alternative. Have a look at the K43u.

Same AMD E-350 CPU + AMD HD6310 in a 14 inch body. RM 1299 (IINM), FreeDOS

Thank you. Asus a bit expensive, rm1299 for FreeDos. The shop qoute me rm1199 for win version with 4gb ram. It is a good price? Or better go for asus? Have limited choice here.

Hi, i'm interested in getting the HP Probook 6560b. May I know the price for the top range i7 one?

Is it worth getting HP, or they are just a bunch of overated products like Acer?
