Guys, really need help. Dilemma sad.gif

- budget not more than RM2300
- 14" or 15.6"
- Light gaming, movie
- Good battery lifetime.
- Optional for better keyboard, speaker, and display screen.

Currently considering models:

- Dell 14R (RM2299)
- N53SV-SX256V or N53SV-SX255V, but over budget
- A43SV-VX073V

Which 1 to choose ?

Try to go for N43Sl and N53Sv instead... I believe with the proper amount of bargaining, getting them at RM2.3k is possible brows.gif

i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M, Bang & Olufsen speakers *No USB3.0

They are basically similar in every way apart from the size nod.gif
Do take note that both doesn't have USB 3.o (N43, N53S i5 variant)

Hi All, I'm new to laptop, as I'm going to oversea soon, not planning to "import" any desktop overthere. Would like to ask for recommendation.
- budget not more than RM3500
- 14" or 15.6"
- Heavy gaming (not necessary go for high setting but can play most of latest titles), movie, entertainment.
- Good/Average battery lifetime.
- Optional for webcam, better sound and display etc
- Not consider mobility as most of the time will use at home (So, weight is not major issue)

Currently in mind
Asus, HP and Lenovo.

Questions:
Is i5 enough for decent gaming or need to go for i7?
Thanks

Since portability is not really a problem, I would suggest you go for a 15" laptop nod.gif
Can consider these:
Asus (2 years international warranty)
N55Sf-S2043v [black], i5-2410M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB)@RM2799[Bang & Olufsen]; USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer
N55Sf-SX047v, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + Bluray@RM3699[Bang & Olufsen]; USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer
G53Sx-SZ039v, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GTX560M (2GB)@RM3999, backlit keyboard, gaming backpack & mouse

HP (*Rm3.1k without beats)
Dv6-6001TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770@RM3499 [2.63kg]; Beats headphones
Dv6-6114TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770 + BluRay@RM3799 [Beats][2.63kg], [4GB RAM] Beats headphones, HP optical mouse, HP 500GB external HDD

MSI
GE620-DX, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT555M (2GB)@RM2999, 8GB RAM *Extend to international warranty

Suggested some slightly more expensive laptops for your consideration as well brows.gif
CPU doesn't bring about much performance differences in games, so no worries there hehe~

This would be the best option, small but powerful hehe:
10"
Asus Eee PC 1015B, AMD C-50 + AMD HD6250 + (1024x600)@RM899 [1.3kg], Colors: Black/White/Red

Can get this one as well (more towards entertainment):
Toshiba NB520-1035/37/39/41/43, Atom N570 + Intel GMA3150@RM1099[1.32kg] [Harman/kardon], Colors: Brown/Blue/Lime Green/ Copper/Turquoise
Just bargain until RM1k brows.gif
