But I'm confident that 13" laptop can be 1.7kg or less...

Just see ASUS U Series, or Toshiba.

If only ASUS can release U Series with Llano APU. Without the need to add NVDIA graphic inside, surely the price will be cheaper.
*
Well, the normal 13'' is weight around 1.8KG-2.0KG, less than that is the expensive model.
If you can compromise on the weight a bit, there's Acer 3830TG, i3 2310M + nVidia GT540M@RM1999...

The weight @1.9kg seems quite reasonable. I will consider it, thanks a lot! icon_rolleyes.gif

Can I have a link to Asus A43TA specifications please? I can't find any on the web. Seems like AMD Llano is being under-marketized here. Manufacturers seem to be not so enthusiastic about Llano.

eyeing on acer as4830TG and asus A43SV i5 version.. may someone tell me pros n contras for both lappy?

how long a43sv can stand on batt?
*
4830TG, got Optimus, lighter, bigger battery, some having throttling problem.
A43Sv, no Optimus, 2 years global warranty, battery, one user reach 4 hours with minimum settings..

Hi guys, anyone can recommend me a list of latest laptop to choose with the specs as below?

Price Range : 2.5K to 3K (Preferably anything lower than 3K)
Type : Above 15" Laptop
RAM : 4GB
USB 3.0 : Optional
Proc : i5 (Prefer Intel)
GPU : Able to support games like Dota / HON
Keyboard: Backlitted keyboard. (If possible)

Note: Preferably a laptop that able to last long. Not much problem. Just buy and play. College use and entertainment.

Thanks =D

Need more options hehe XD

Throttling if stress CPU and GPU at the same time..
But one user managed to solve the throttling and reduce its temp 18C on load by removing the filter on bottom plate..

Thanks Sifus for the reply.

How about this one? Does this spec looks OK? Price 1799:

The spec is OK for a subnotebook, but its slower than regular notebook and not mentioning its small battery 30Whr compared recent notebook with 48Whr++..
