The Inspiron is more balanced in terms of overall performance.
Go for the A43Ta if gaming is of higher priority

I decided to get Asus A43SJ-VX259V at PC fair yesterday.

Basically, the spec is:
i5-2410M Processor 2.30GHz
Window 7 Home Premium
640GB, 4GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT520M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM

Decided to give up the 8GB RAM and GT540M GPU. Opt for little saving and slightly bigger hardisk size as I am not gamer and using PC for online, movie and other light activities only. Well, price difference between A43SV-VX053V and my current model is only RM150 only.

hi many congrats..can you tell about the speakers of a43..like the bass level ..i just heard song from dv6 series beats audio speaker and my nokia n8 sounds better than it...lolzz

1. Any brand will do. Avoid Acer and HP.
2. Still not sure yet. Depands on what choice i can make.
3. University student. Normal paperwork and web surfing, facebook flash game.
4. Since laptop for girl. 13-14inch size should be sufficient. Most important is light weight (less then 2kg?).

Bass is non-existent on those speakers.

just one suggestion to all friends..if you are going for hp dv6 series laptops then just check their features because not all of them have usb 3.0 ports..they have only 2.0 which is slow data rate compared to 3.0 standard
