New UK tv show called 'Parades End' with Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock). Reminds me of Downton Abbey, which isn't a bad thing. Will watch

watched the pilot. cant really say whether its good or bad. will watch the 2nd episode to make up my mind..

Newsroom just finished.
10/10... the best intelligent tv series to air so far.

ive completed..

Political Animals: so-so, probably watch the 2nd season..
The Newsroom: excellent series, though i think Emily Mortimer is a weak link..
True Blood S5: so-so, probably watch the next season, if any..
Suits S2 (on break): love this show..
Falling Skies S2: so-so, but much improved than debut season.. probably watch the 3rd season..

Well they were all really good, even the supporting casts. I personally liked the Sloane Sabbath character (Olivia Munn) as well as the neurotic and sometimes b****y Maggie (Alison Pill). One of the rare series where

i love newsroom, the finale for season 1 just aired last sunday. Strong script [of course, Aaron Sorkin writes it], strong characters, great acts. Though maybe will be enjoyable if you aware of social and politic issues in US.
But if you don't [like me] it's still very much enjoyable. Olivia Munn FTW!

agree, season 2 is quite boring and repetitive. but kitty flashes her boobs in eps 1, so...

just started to watch Downton Abbey.. its very good, though not as good as my early expectation..

Havent finish the first season. Kinda liked it but other series took priority as I dont really have time to watch.
