Revolution.

Though I'm not buying the post-apo setup they're presenting, which is also the subject of intense internet debate, but the series has its share of fans.

ive marathon watched Downton Abbey. 2 episodes left + Christmas Sp. plan to complete before S3 start.

great series, most woman probably will enjoy this. at least i enjoy their British accent. i confused with a lot of things at first (the social classes, culture, inheritance etc) but quick wiki reading helped me a lot. i love the scenes involving Cora, Violet and Isobel. one of them can be pleasing, amusing or annoying at a same time.

ive recommended this to my nieces /cousins since the series use a proper English, no nudity, no violence etc.

What's Revolution like ?

@dundermifflin only Revolution so far.

It's kinda average imo. The story is pretty 'out there'. Guess they're trying something new. I just hope they have enough to back it up and not just leave us hanging. Its hard to tell if this show will flop or not based on the pilot.

Now that Newsroom S1 is done. And Suits S2 on a break...

Yeah, an average medical thriller ... it's a two-parter only. The 1st part was quite intriguing for me, but the 2nd part wasn't. The latter spent too much time on hide-n-chase, not much on the medical aspect, coz maybe the coma mystery was mostly answered already by then, and they resorted to typical actions as climax...

I didn't read the book by Robin Cook; was drawn to this by the actors (Geena Davis, James Woods, Richard Dreyfuss ... but they aren't the main characters ... not a spoiler, I guess) and it's produced by Scott Free Productions (ya, it's dedicated to the memory of Tony Scott). Just starting to watch The Good Wife series, which was executive produced by them as well, but I think less hands-on.


By the way, just watched a nice 2-parter, for me ... A Touch of Cloth (2 episodes), a UK production; the thread is US TV series, but I see other UK series are being discussed here also coz no need to clutter the sub-forum with extra threads. Anyway, it's a parody of police TV series; I found the dialogues quite chucklingly funny (got self-grammar corrections, double entendres, clichés, misunderstood speech, etc.) ... even the camera work is loony at times (spinning around characters needlessly, characters walking in circles in police station coz they haven't finish their dialogues, etc. ). Nice for a laugh ... but not for people who can't stand nonsensical comedy (which reminds me Chow Sing Chi's earlier style). It's not slapstick. Starring John Hannah ... trying to keep a straight face while delivering those 'silly' lines.

LOL. They havent reveal the "mother" yet. Probably in the new Season 8 coming soon.
Last season's finale, they only revealed Barney's bride.

i tot season 7 is the final season? not interested anyway, i was bored after 2nd season

Wasnt really a fan of the show at first. Thought it was "Friends" rip-off. And it was too sissy for my liking. But wife likes it. And surprisingly it gets better after that.

watched Go On.. just so-so.. but still will watch it further..

looking forward for Boardwalk Empire and Downton Abbey new season..

Marathoned The Walking Dead Season 1. Cant say I enjoyed it. Amuse with the level of stupidity of its characters. Its just not for me. No offense to all fans of the series. It took me this long to actually watched it. Now that I've seen it, I'm gonna give it a pass. 6 episodes was enough to make me cringed to death.
