i think we both share the same interest lol

Suits definitely a must watch tv-show. season 2 starting to get more tense now that the war has started  thumbup.gif somewhat i kinda like Luis character and his facial expression sometime unpredictable to what hes gonna says  sweat.gif

Deleted Game of Thrones after completed season 1. rather just watch porn than this show.

Started to watch Once Upon a Time. looks promising. (if ure fan of Jennifer Morrison, u dont wanna miss this)  wub.gif

not sure if it's slow poke. I'm catching on

a) Continuum- great story line, at least it keeps you going for more. One of the best Canadian made. can't wait for more

b) Falling Skies - mm, starts on a pretty slow note. I'm only on S1E03

I'm watching it. There's a few short reviews of it in earlier posts here. Feels like Charlie has a similar role to Two and A Half Men.

Anger Management
watched 3 episodes. got a decent punch lines here and there, but its typical Carlie Sheen.. nothing special sitcom.. but im not watching any sitcom lately, i guess i'll keep it in my watch list..

seen the 1st episode, seem ok  shocking.gif

Sinbad - UK
watched the pilot. like a Hollywood B rate movies, but its great effort for UK standard.

surpass my 'standard', i'll keep it in my watch list..

Newsroom EP 4 was 'effing amazing...especially the last few minutes.

Sinbad not bad and has potential. Will keep it on the back of my watch list for now.

Anger Management is as cool as Two and a Half Men but I'm probably biased as I'm a Charlie Sheen fan.

Suits as usual is fast paced. I'm curious as to what will Louis do to dig the secret.

Leverage Season 5 is out and its the same usual 'takedown' of big bad corporation/individuals but this time they may have a hidden twist.

Burn Notice is getting more serious and intense with Fiona's life under threat.

Has anyone checked out Political Animals yet? new show on the USA network starring Sigourney Weaver. Only 6 episodes I think.

Sounds interesting.

Synopsis:

QUOTE
POLITICAL ANIMALS is a bold and significant look at a fictional former first family in turmoil. Elaine Barrish, a divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State, struggles to keep her family together while simultaneously dealing with the crises of the State Department. She finds an unlikely ally in Susan Berg, a famous D.C. journalist who has spent her career tearing Elaine down. The provocative drama series will tap into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of a high-profile political dynasty, the dark – yet real – human side of life, and the often-disastrous effects of political ambition. Exploring themes that resonate in the current political landscape and taking viewers beyond the glossy ads and well-written public speeches, POLITICAL ANIMALS will reveal a vulnerable family on the verge of falling apart.

Sounds interesting.
Synopsis:
Yeah, just watched. It's supposed to be a mini-series.

I can't compare with other previous or current shows which I think is similar in contents e.g. Commander-in-Chief (Geena Davis as the President) or Veep (Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the VP); coz I didn't follow them, but on it's own, so-so only; some parts intriguing, some part seems like soap opera. I'd prefer The Newsroom for US political drama, but since it's only 6 episodes, I'll follow through.

The title is Political Animals (Sigourney is back at tackling dramatic roles since her memorable roles in Gorillas in the Mist and Alien series; all are connected with 'animals' ... hmmm hmm.gif ), but more than half of 1st episode is about family domestic issues, or at least the 1st episode is; maybe to introduce the characters, I dunno.
Acting wise ... uneven ... some scenes, I cringed at the actors uttering the dialogues, other scenes ... obamanotbad.jpg ...

The 'funny' thing is .... if Hillary Clinton were to watch this, I wonder how much does she see herself in Sigourney Weaver's character. Although fictional, I can't help but compare both of their not dissimilar political life.
Oh, the 'President' of the United States from the series Heroes is back. wink.gif

some of the sex scenes were unnecessary imo. Sigourney Weaver was great though.

I've downloaded The Hollow Crown, but haven't watched. I only see 2 episodes, but the last one is tagged EP3. Weird. I'm guessing the first one contains 2 episodes?

Continuum remains the #1 rated Showcase series and the ratings seem to have stabilized around 400K.
Ratings for each episode:
Episode 1 900,000 viewers
Episode 2 670,000 viewers
Episode 3 531,000 viewers
Episode 4 389,000 viewers
Episode 5 473,000 viewers
Episode 6 404,000 viewers
Episode 7 427,000 viewers

seem that a 2nd season can be hopeful rclxms.gif
