The latest episode of "the knick" is wickedly awesome. Thackery hitting the proverbial rabbit hole as Lucy helplessly suck deeper into their toxic relationship. Clive Owen hasn't been this good since Children of Men. And also that emotional tormenting abortion scene. Everyone's on a path of their own self destruction. Just what the doctor/s prescribed.

Gracepoint will have a different killer, but it could be more than one killer. Based on advanced review, Gracepoint and Broadchurch will be the same until episode 7.i think legend get into my list of shit-series-but-i-still-watch-it. i always like sean bean. it was weak series, i'll not recommend it. |

That's great news since i've stopped watching it a few weeks back. Not intentionally but rather lost track of things haha. But dude get your hands on Gomorra if you haven't seen it. Both the film and the tv series, i recommend watching the film first to fully appreciate the neapolitan culture and the camorra syndicate. |

I saw the promotional poster for that, but reading through the reviews stating "frame to frame remake", think I'll pass. I like Tennant, but Colman deserves equal credit. What a powerful performance it was.
Probably back to zombies and Morgan then, I'm curious with what he's up to. QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Oct 16 2014, 08:00 AM) |

Awake is quite similar in feel to Touch, a drama driven by mysterious (perhaps supernatural) circumstances. I quite like it to be honest.

forever i think it had a decent pilot. but watched 4 episodes now, i think it too ordinary..
just like any other csi or procedural series, with a touch of immortal sherlock-esque medical examiner. they should focus on his immortality-ness more.. elementary are coming back, so im gonna drop forever.. |

im quite picky on sitcom /funny series. not much show caught my attention.
will try benched and transparent (watched the pilot, an okay show. nudity is a bonus) even the apprentice uk i considered a 'comedy'.. i really enjoying it.. and alpha house are coming back. love the 1st season. This post has been edited by dundermifflin: Oct 19 2014, 09:35 AM |

QUOTE(zachozoi @ Oct 24 2014, 05:26 PM) bro looking for a new series to watch and gomorra have good reviews, so going to start watch this weekend in one night, so does the movie is a must watch before the tv series or its kinda prequel?? It's not related in terms of plots and characters. You can watch the film before or after. The tv series is miles better in terms of thrill and suspense. I would watch the film if you want to enrich the experience of watching the tv series. From what i understand, the film did well to encapsulate the neapolitan and comorra way of life but it is rather slow and uneventful for most part so may not be for everyone. But i still enjoyed it nonetheless. Anyways the finale was aired earlier this week. Mind = blown. Enjoy it bro. |
