I just bought one of these from the states and while its a pretty good tablet, it has some flaws. By the way you can get the tab 10.1 16GB wifi for RM1500 + RM150 shipping from the states directly via borderlinx. Don't know why anyone would pay RM2k through ebay.. Also you don't need a 3g version (e.g. tab 8.9) if you have a smartphone with data plan already - just tether.

One of the flaws is this:

It is real, and it does exist on my tab. and yes, actually sticking it in the fridge or in front of a strong aircond does fix it for a while..

Another is that the tab tends to just turn itself off (when there's still battery), and won't turn itself back on again unless you hold and press the on/off button much longer than usual, leading to heart and panic attacks.

Lastly, it is sluggish. More sluggish than the single core ipad 1 or 2. or my 3gs for that matter. Yes it can load webpages much better than iOS but it is also much more sluggish.

Other than that, its a pretty good tablet. Now I am trying to find where can I buy that USB adapter in Msia or find a seller that ships it to Msia..

Today i saw the banner in 1st avenue penang, it is indeed a 10.1v but not 10.1........probably they are trying to bring in the 10.1v first....

By the time they launch it, apple will have their ipad3 coming out as well (rumors saying that most likely will be somewhere around sept - nov)...
