bro, you can't have 2 launchers running at a same time, choose one launcher that you like and make it as default. It won't ask u the same questions again. If you clear default, there will be no default launcher therefore, it keeps asking u to select one. Hope you know what I meant.

muslayer,
Did you put your phone to S-OFF? Done any rooting? or it's straight up original? Anyway, I didn't have that problem.

Hmm, maybe a full reset on your phone? btw, it's good to flash a custom ROM, more tweaks and more stable. IMO. wink.gif

The paint at the back of my DS is slowly corroding after 1 year. Thinking of using a sandpaper to take all the paint off lol. laugh.gif

I have a question to ask. My hboot version is 2.000.0002, S-ON, and reading over the first page, it mentioned that Revolutionary only works for hboot 0.98.0002?

Is there a way to root my phone and still be able to use custom roms while still maintaining my hboot version?

I've had this phone for almost a year now and I finally have the balls to try to root it hahahah.

Some help is very much appreciated biggrin.gif

-==EDIT==-

I manage to do it heh. Just would like to know which ROM(s) are you all using (for those who rooted their phones, of course)

Thanks!

Now that you've rooted your stock ROM, you can now install the recovery.

Backup first your stock ROM using the recovery just in case you want to go back. And then go ahead format the phone and install whatever ROM you want. The backup is in your SD card so it's safe there.

I'm using MIUI 4 since i personally like it. Still not perfectly stable though.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies smile.gif

I rooted my phone using this guide, still S-ON though. I'm using Endymion ROM as well. I'm also still looking around to see if there are any ROMs which I might be interested in using later on.

@Joseph Hahn, I did not back up my stock ROM and jumped straight to formatting the phone and installing a custom ROM. Will I be able to go back to my stock ROM then?

Just some random freezes. Most of the time it's ok though. Everything seems to work.

After using custom ROM i doubt you'll want to go back hehe... but you can still install it back if you want. I think there's a thread where they compile stock rooted ROM somewhere on XDA.
