wow! double prosperity, double happiness. 2 happy news for me. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

first, desire s got nominated as top 5 best smartphone. Quite surprised. Sweet! I'm a proud DS user.

second, maxis just increased my 3gb quota to 5gb at NO extra charge. Sweet again! I'm a happy maxis user.

Is Desire S good for a mid-range phone?

When I search for mid-range phones, Galaxy W and Arc always appear but not this. The spec are pretty good to me. Why is it not that famous?

hmm it happens last week but this week appears fine to me. very weird. but i'm not surprising that it will restart another time, cause even samsung gs2 or gw have this problem. symbian still rocks yo

try to restart the phone by yourself

or turn it off for 5 min then on it back

What are the cons of Desire S? From reviews I watched, it looks good for a mid-range.

bro, is it juz suddenly ok? for me is not quite ok as before is not so.
last tues i've went to brightstar service center at plaza berjaya, they said need to left it for 3 working days.
but of course need to backup everything.

that might be last resort for me other than own factory reset. BTW, appreciate if anyone can guide me how to backup my DS data, preferably inside PC.

for me, its CPU. it should come with dual core. afraid that this phone will lag given that HTC come up with ICS update.
others is ok

the phone lag because it using cpu to render the htc sense instead of gpu rendering .

for downgrade the phone . you need to s-off it and root it then flash this flash that bla bla bla . alot of things to do .

if you willing to take the risk . root it and install custom rom smile.gif . there is alot custom rom out there work alot better , alot faster and battery life alot better than stock smile.gif

if you meant backup those organizers and message, i think temporary use a secondary android phone would be a good idea

backup data can use software

Added on February 2, 2012, 8:52 pmoh wait. can back up your message in sd card.

can be done using desire s itself

From reviews on other mid-range phone and considering the price tag of RM1000, this phone has fewer disadvantage than others.

htc ryhme is quite overprice and more suitable for lady. take sensation would be better if you dont mind its battery life.

further more, baterry you can use 3rd party. want safe buy branded 3rd party battery.
