QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 12 2011, 10:52 AM) just sharing what i was recently told... i tested sensation, also got some heat behind it..even last time nexus one, after playing game, it also quite hot behind.. think this is the problem for a slim phone and 'good' processor according to a phone seller, he's advising close friends not to get sgs2 because of the heat issue. after 10mins of use, phone becomes hot. so, the phone can't last long... |

QUOTE(wkwong77 @ Jul 12 2011, 10:52 AM) Is this from SamFirmware? I ask this because after flashing ROM from SamFirmware, it will become non rooted again. Am I right? YES - normally samfirmware will unroot. Does it matter ?? Because 99.9999 % most users will change the kernel back to Chainfire CF4 KG1 which will root back the phoneAdded on July 12, 2011, 11:01 am QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 12 2011, 10:52 AM) just sharing what i was recently told... Typical pasar sellers mindset. same as telling people don't buy porche and ferrari as engine gets extremely hot within minutes and will burn out the car faster than proton sagaaccording to a phone seller, he's advising close friends not to get sgs2 because of the heat issue. after 10mins of use, phone becomes hot. so, the phone can't last long... Last time my i4 also got very hot at times, if battery die then how, especially after warranty? Kopak and change new one yourself?Otherwise it's finelah. If you still worry get the polarbear heatsink case floating around on the net. |

QUOTE(Hico @ Jul 12 2011, 10:54 AM) i am from east msia ya. i saw that.Added on July 12, 2011, 10:56 am i just order sgp case from that web using moneybroker.. just key in your credit card detail and proceed for payment..not need register acc with them..same like paypal..after payment, they will email you the confirmation of the payment.. But there are a lot of charges applied if use moneybroker. It stated sort of like usd2 or something for whatever charges and USD whatever for like credit card charges or something like tat. So I am thinking whether is it safe to do bank transfer directly to them? bcz if use bank transfer to them, no charges right? |

QUOTE(hye @ Jul 12 2011, 09:56 AM) Just to clarify. Then u should bring in those case without opening. There are 2 variants of this phone over in Korea. One being SK/KT release which does not have the antenna and the other LG+ which has DVB support (aka TV) and the need to have the antenna port. The bulk of the S2 users here in Korea are the SK/KT users. Not all Korean cases are built to have the antenna opening and likewise not all Korean cases are designed to cover all. |
