Well, it was rated better based on the overall value proposition. 250 could perform better on the track but the Scirocco is a better all rounder car. I mean how many people actually buy a car to go to the race track right  tongue.gif

very true, plus the scirocco's interior is actually much better than the megane.

I just installed the RNS510 and Unibrace UB at exquisite marques for my Roc. Labor cost only RM127.

Got the RNS510 used for RM2200 through ebay, shipped from Lithuania. Delivery only took 3 days.

The UB I ordered online while I was in the US for around RM1000. Both items manage to avoid tax so quite lucky la.

Now trying to find a place to install a Malaysian map for my RNS.

hey guys, did y'all realise the speedometer on VW (mine's a 1.4TSI) wont display the actual speed but its slightly higher (~7-8kmh)?? i compared it with another car of mine (not vw) with cruise control - driving side by side on highway, and also a gps.... both confirm what i suspected hmm.gif

it's a known fact the speedometer in most cars is not accurate... over-reads by a few %.. wink.gif some say GPS reading are the closest... i can't b sure on that

yea... and I read somewhere online the car manufacturers are complying to a something-something and purposely make it higher than actual speed so that we wont get saman... lolll.. and now i know why my car feels slow when driving at 140-150 (compared to driving my other car) wink.gif

Do you think if we upgrade to larger rims would cause the speedometer to be a bit heavier giving a more "accurate" reading?

Larger rims would then also increase the inaccuracy of your speedometer.

it depends, profile of the tyres also play a part.

just google any of those guides on the net, input in your current tyres profile and the new ones. It will tell you how many % it run off.

Think the ideal one is something less than 5% smile.gif
