Mine is ori rims. I'm feeling the same as well... What tires are yours? Using the original tires which is the continental. Funnily, its only the road noise, other traffic noise is definitely almost silent. Comments? Any recommendation - will probably change to it after the ori wears out! |

But how come it's still louder comparing with a nissan latio with 17 inch and hankook tyres...sad..sad.. Any recommendation - will probably change to it after the ori wears out! |

QUOTE(Mavik @ Sep 14 2011, 11:33 PM) Yeah the Polo GtI has a lot of power! In terms on engine sound, which part of the Golf GTI did you like? The DSG fart or the sound of the turbo? Actually I not really like the exterior for both golf gti & polo gti, but if you blind my eyes without looking at the exterior and went into the interior, looking at the interior I feel like driving a super sport car. Added on September 14, 2011, 10:34 pm We will see more next year when the customers get their cars from March 2012 The sound I also not sure either turbo or dsg, lol.. I think should be the dsg gear changing + pick up power by twin turbo changer. Did you test polo gti before? I want to know more about it compare to golf gti, it seems an affordable powerful car. Tonight going to test my friend newly bought scirocco 1.4, the car is nice but i think not as powerful as polo gti right? If I order polo gti today, what date you expect I can get it? They have a few fixes for this whether it is to adjust the rubber lining on the doors or adjust the doors themselves. Tell them in particular where you hear the sound the most. Any recommendation - will probably change to it after the ori wears out! QUOTE(kursk @ Sep 15 2011, 05:59 AM) Awesome, thanks for sharing. The Golf on the right, using the Kerscher kit. Not many people opt to get that kit! QUOTE(rstusa @ Sep 15 2011, 08:28 AM) Actually I not really like the exterior for both golf gti & polo gti, but if you blind my eyes without looking at the exterior and went into the interior, looking at the interior I feel like driving a super sport car. If you order today, not too sure if you can even get it at March 2012 as they have so many bookings already. If you want I can pass you to me sales agent and she can help you with the car. Also yeah the Polo GTI will be faster mainly because it is tuned to a higher power and its a lighter car. The sound I also not sure either turbo or dsg, lol.. The Polo GTI interior is different compared to the Golf GTI purely by the difference of leather seats and the fabric tartan seats which follows the original design of the Golf GTI MK1. In terms of power, the Golf GTI's pull and burst of speed at the higher ranges will be felt a lot more due to the 2.0 engine. At 0-100 the Polo will give the Golf a good run but once at higher speeds, will tend to lose out already. |

Doesn't matter if it's TSI, GTI or R.The only difference is some of the accessories. For example GTI has steel pedals, tartan fabric and a flat bottom steering wheel. Normal Golf doesn't, but even its regular accessories are of equally good quality. |

Its almost the same interior between the Golf GTI and TSI. Like mentioned above, steering is different, leather seats and SS footrest and pedals that are noticeable. But GTI SE get a lot of extras, sun roof and RNS510.

How about build quality of tsi and gti? My main concern is quality. |
