Hey guys ... some of you might still remember me asking about VW Golf GTI ...

Here's an update ,
Golf GTI (50K) = RM157k
Golf R (57-60k) = RM189k
Scirocco R (Coming out to Aussie next January ) (TBA)

ALL BRAND NEW , Price given are all ON THE ROAD , NO MORE TO PAY.

What do you think ? Should I wait a little bit more to see if the Scirocco R is a better way to go ?

Those who wanna ask again , the car is for commuting to uni, to hang out at night... Pretty much a Student's car .

Yea I like the Rising Blue actually.
But I'm still contemplating ... Golf GTI is also more than enough for my needs.
Our golf GTI is slightly different from the one in Malaysia .
We don't have xenon headlights as stock.

Golf R in Aussie is like Golf GTI in Malaysia ( With DRL, Xenon ) while Golf GTI in Aussie is like Golf TSI in Malaysia.

Is your information reliable on price ? VW guy told me it's gonna be more expensive than GTI but not more than a Golf R.

Hey...I have rang VW and they told me that they are gonna get about 4 cars in December . However 3 is sold =O ... NExt shipment will probably be another 2-6 months .

Not sure if I want a Scirocco yet O.O

May I ask where did you guys get the R Tail light ? I would like to fit them into my GTI as well ... Any idea about the Xenon as well ? Aussie GTI does not have that as standard =(


I'm thinking of getting Eibach Pro Kit to go with some Oz Superturismo GT rims.

Any thoughts ?

Obviously my reply has been covered by other stuff .

My question was where can I get R tail-lights and possibly the xenon headlights for Golf GTi .

And is anyone running on Eibach springs ? (In Malaysia)
