if it maintains the overclockability of good old M4A88TD-V EVO while added with AM3+ compatibility, i'd say it's a great midrange oc board. love every single thing bout it when i owned it during Thuban era. From superb ram mileage (for being an 8xx series board) to solid BIOSes, u can't go wrong with this IMO. Good choice bro...

Hi guys. I just order 960t and gonna get it this friday. I was thinking to update to the latest bios. Mine still using the stock bios.
So is it ok to update to the latest bios?? Or its only for the bulldozer??
Mind sharing the easiest way to update the bios?? Thank you.

D sad part of havin an 8 core chip is d temp bro. One really need above average wc to tame d heat @ high clocks. But apart of that, bd has been nothing but fun.

Its ok to flash d bios to bd ready bios even ur usin older chips. Easiest way of update is either windows based or usin thumb drive in bios. Depends on which one ur more comfortable with.

While htt clockin is fun, it's better to stick with multi oc, especially at earlier stage where highest mileage of chip is being determined. Rest assured we will have decent results from bro -pWs- whose no stranger here. I learnt a lot from him n others back then.

it's true bro, i learned alot from u guys when i joined during am2 era. miss all d old legs liao...

back to topic, did u play with llc in bios? i find d settings on CPU & CPU-NB LLC can affect stability to certain extent.

Haven yet bro.
Now i need to roughly guess what the limit for the processor and ram.
Then only slowly touch others.
