you just said your multiplier can go max 7.5X, how do you check this?
how do you confirm that it can go max at 7.5x?

[attachmentid=2698841][attachmentid=2698842]Need to ask fellow AMD sifu-sifu here. Is this (attahced CPUZ picture) considered good enough? Or should I say, safe enough? If not, please advise me what else to modify. Thanks a lot, fellow sifu-sifu of AMD O/C here.

1.448 vcore for 3.5Ghz proc is a bit high.. later your proc fried.
and please keep the HT Link at 2000Mhz or below.

the higher the NB freq is the best but, you'll need to increase the CPU/NB voltage

have you disable the Cool n Quiet? enable the cpu spread spectrum?

loor... if on air, how much estimate clock can get with that vcore?
1.39V quite good if can reach 4.0Ghz +...

how about the ram and cpu/nb speed...

as mentioned, it was done on entry level wc. smile.gif

one cant expect value ram to do wonders nowadays, considerin how cheap they're priced. 1600 is possible but don't expect same timing, infact, they need to be loosened alot. sweat.gif

not that i dont wanna do a review, but it's kinda pointless to me as we all know fx will be humiliated by its predecessors in most test. sad.gif

bd cpu-nb (24/7) clock varies from 2400~2700 (very2 rare), 2400 is quite common for all d chips i tested. nod.gif

i need a pair of decent ram + lotsa reading/questionnaires in order to achieve decent clock on ram, so far i haven't broken 2200MHz wall which is kinda sad. i see ppl doing 2400 or above w/o sweat, well, that's what diff a boy from a man i guess. still lotsa things to be learned. icon_question.gif

I am using Corsair H50 push/pull config... Coretemp reported 52C now. I guess the real thermal temp should be 62C.

Actually I am using Dominator Ram that can run at 1600MHz but I can't set it at that speed. Currently running at 1412MHz only sad.gif If I set the RAM at x6.66, it will run at 1866MHz which is way too high. If let say in the future I decided to upgrade my RAM, it's best to get a 1800MHz/2000MHz set right?
*
U can actually try oc ur ram, i dont see why a dominator 1600mhz cant run at 1866mhz with lax timing.. last time my Gskill 1600mhz also was running at that speed laugh.gif

Recommend me the lax timing & voltage bro... I'll try to run at 1866MHz and report back later wink.gif

Whats ur current ram volt? Try setting it at 1.65v and let the timing run as it is now.. see how.. smile.gif
