Nah, not as high as you may think. QA engineer over there around 4k++. The project engineers salary by my estimate is around 5k.

When i was at my old job, they approached me to be their resident QA engineer for around 4k++, but i turned them down since i already had my WI cert and was quitting my job to do contract work.

Ivan, it's early in the morning & you already start dreaming? Nevertheless, it's good to have this kind of dream once a while tongue.gif
After filtering O&G companies, I think those direct competitors that could threaten FMC in terms of offshore services are only a few, namely AS & CAM.
Btw, my wife is reluctant to move to SG with me, and the best part is she wouldn't want me to leave her side as well smile.gif ; dilemma, dilemma.

Ya.
But even if it is only hotel stay...60 bux for 8 nights (2 5d4n) in 4 star hotel, the price is still really unbelievable.
Too good to be true is what my gut is telling me. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I hope so, if this is an investment, at most you lost $60 or you gain the 91% saving. But this is your own 8 days holidays trip! It will affect you if the deal is real bad once you are in China, worst if you bring your family along. I don't think of making money when I go holiday, I will pay for peace of mind and smooth experience... and freedom to decide where/when I want to go and what I want to eat.

4 stars... rclxub.gif

I'm on my way to Defu.
Employer told it'll take 1-2 weeks for EP application.

I need to serve 2 months notice and they're trying to get me started before October so that I can enjoy 2011 4th Q bonus next year.

Wish me luck.

The last time I was told that, I was screwed upon by the company saying biz no good, no bonus. sweat.gif sweat.gif
Lesson learnt: entitled to =/= will get. laugh.gif laugh.gif
But then, that was back during the economy slowdown.

My 3rd application failed cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Reason of being rejected:
Notified from my HR saying the reason is because my school name on the transcript does not match with filled application online. What's the difference on below:
Uni XXX, Melaka Campus (Option from the online application)
Uni XXX (On my transcript without the "Melaka Campus")
And secondly, my college name has changed just right after I graduate upgrading from college to university. Again in the online application it was college blablabla while my certification was college university blablabla....

By the way my HR said she will appeal for it this time. Lets see if it works .... Haizzzzzzzzzzzzzz

agreed. it's wise to negotiate your per annum pay without taking the so called 'bonus' into account.

Well, it is an advise to make you not act rashly.
Wait for the pass to be approved before you tender.
Do not get tempted by the Q4 bonus.
If you get the bonus, it is added.

The only part that will be rushed, is the EP application.
I've spent months on this job application prior to this phase. And I don't plan to tender until I see the In-Principle Approval Letter from MOM.
