I find starbucks coffee bland and rather tasteless. Would rather french press my own coffee and buy and grind my own coffee beans when i have the time and its way cheaper with way less sugar as well.

i suggested him to apply S pass for me, or apply 2.8k at first application...

Haiz, pray god he will give me a favorable reply later.

He give the reason is S pass harder to apply, and generally apply in both S and E pass.

You are allowed to have 3 changes maximum and I think have to do it 3 days before departure date.

Guys,

Need some clarification with regards to credit limit given by banks on your credit card. I have an existing corporate credit card and applied for a personal one 2 weeks ago. I notice the credit limit is not the generic x2.5 to x4 of my basic salary. I remembered asking the credit officer  the impact of my corporate CC with regards to this application of which he clarified that they should be treated as independent cases.  Now the situation seems to be contradictory.

On a similar capacity, I am planning to apply for a CC from a different bank. How would this be assessed as far as credit limit is concerned?  Firsthand experience would be appreciated.

Hmm, my credit limit is 1:1 ratio to my salary.. bank is citibank but got it approved and mailed to me within a week..

As for my corporate CC, this one dont have limit lol..

i got 1.5x but they give another 2x through another scheme but the interest is 30%pa instead of usual 18.8%pa if exceed he first 1.5x, ur corp cc is tied to the company not to you, so ur credit rating doesnt matter... usually MAS controls cc limit quite strictly

Don't be so cheapo!! I lost totally 2K realised in stock market.
I am being so cheapo, keep stingy on food and rental, after that I lost in useless things.
Cheapo people will get their money run away on useless things.
Do you agree? What I learnt, I should contribute my money to church.

I see. So if all the banks offer the Debit version of credit card then why do people still want to apply for the 'actual' one? To gain reward points?

1. cashflow: debit u need $$$ in an acc, cc has its own acc without $$$ inside
2. reward points: yea, slightly better
3. protection: like me i travel a lot, if use debit card they minus my acc straight away and any disputes i am hardly protected, with cc i can still fight
4. show off: ...
5. better design

Haha ya I admit the actual credit cards look a lot nicer.

The debit version also provide the same protection wor~ probably not for SG ones?
