i just graduate from U and majoring in mechanical. My result is 3.6 out of 4.
through jobstreet and jobsdb  i had send out many resume unfortunately din get any replies from the company i applied.

What is my problem?
expected salary that i put is 2.6k.
the salary i put is too high???

DBS/POSB does not charge annual fee for ATM Debit card. ATM Debit Card can be issued on the spot at the branch as long as u open a bank account with min $500 in it.

in fact, i dont know what their relationships is but i know they're somehow linked. i can see POSB is almost everywhere. 

Correct me if I am wrong.  Long ago,Most people save their money in POSB, they don't do risky investment  and the saving is back by gov.  Then gov want to tap the people's golden eggs for more risky investment. So DBS take over POSB and the gov only cover 20k for your account. When bank make money. They take fat bonus, when they really mess up and screw you, gov give you 20k that's it.

No such things as $2/month  fine for less than $500 saving back then. POSB was a low cost public bank to serve average people. DBS was more for business.

Now they are the same. You can use your ATM card on all their ATM machine.

Both bank offer a few cards. Check their web for benefit. What I refer to is the ATM card.  That's POSB ATM card can draw money from DBS machine etc.

Additional information from my friend. He stressed that must have work permit/employment pass to stay in singapore.
Further no one will dare to rent it without all these thing. unless u get a permit from a company then u're allow to rent. How true is this statement?

You can just stay at those travellers lodges around CBD/bugis. Not very expensive. Anyway there is a place across City Square RM50 a night.  Looks dodgy but you get a bed and hot shower plus aircon and at night you can see hookers from your window.

Nothing better?

actually i did mine in Msia for RM60 only (reimburseable upon confirmation). Very simply checkup.
just scan over the one pager result which is out within 15mins waiting. thats it. they didnt ever ask for original and they dun wan to look at the big x-ray film that I have to "carry over" here.

no blood test for me, but i think might have urine test. they just test for sugar or soemthing like that only. no serious test as i recalled. cos the result was out very fast.

the good thing for u is, the nurses looks nicer
