Sorry if that has been asked before, but I would like to know the default build no. and whatnot (virgin TF without root or modding or update) freshly opened from
sealed packaging. I want to buy one, but not too confident whether it would be a completely new one or ones that have been touched and tempered with, software wise. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 21 2011, 08:23 AM) all these display tests, etc... they are subjective. no two person's eyes and likes are the same. some will say LED TVs are nice but i've found them to be not as good as LCD. some say samsung's super amoled + produces fake colours but i kinda like it. nope, this is based on the color gamut standard and all, contrast, brightness, color saturation, all those have some static data to tell, the article is comparing against higher contrast/better color gamut/better color accuracy, this one is not really subjective, rather, they have some really professional testing method to test on those that i mentioned. You notice that on the second link he mention about color gamut(which already have a standard for accuracy), color accuracy, contrast, viewing angle.. those are all statistic based, and they do reflect on how in real life it affect us. those that are doing research can read up those before they know what they can expect.so, who is the right person to say if the screen is nice or not? you, of course... you as in the buyer and user and owner. if the display pleases you... then its good enough. look at it for long time... play some movies... dun bother looking from like 45%, 80%, etc... chances are, normal viewing is not going to be like that. hold it under normal light conditions and see if the reflection bothers you, etc... that's how one should test the displays. i can easily ask... who likes durians? some will say its the worst fruit they have ever come across and give it -10. some would love it so much that they will give +10. even the smell... some say it smells bad. but others will say it smells heavenly. how to agree? i do agree that screen is user subjective, but most user would prefer accurate color with less reflection and higher contrast, so i definitely think the article is helpful, at least to people that understands those terms... ppl that dunno, u can start learning those terms, as u will see them much more when u are researching for LCD/plasma/LED TV |

lol that sifu calling reminds me of another thread that i kinda dislike right now...
that aside, game list that are compatible Kairosoft Games(Game Dev, Hot Springs) -- use only low setting, "Graphic Priority" cases performance issue Asphalt 6 for Optimux 2x -- lags due to higher resolution, however, overclocking to 1.6Ghz makes it smooth as butter Cut The Rope -- limited to portait mode only, even if u docked the keyboard angry bird series all no issue apart from some lags when the ads appear there were a few more, but cant remember right now cos seldom touch since i flash back to stock to claim warranty |

QUOTE(N900user @ Jul 21 2011, 02:33 PM) it's safe, as long as u stick within nvidia's maximum voltage, u wont fry ur device, i saw temperature highest also is 30+ only...go xda forum and check out clemsyn kernal, that was the one i was using, stable 1.6Ghz as for warranty i think it does... cos u are tampering with the recovery, rom and kernal... but easily flash back as well, took me less then 10 minutes to flash back to stock 3.1 firmware This post has been edited by BBXiong: Jul 21 2011, 04:56 PM |
