Overall user experience is ipad2 better but if you want to play some free games (stated above) or down to the system level to configure this and that, go for TF or android.

my ac adapter seems kaput now.
the lock mechanism already broken, i have to press it really hard a few times before it can charge my TF.

do i have to go straight to asus service center in imbi plaza or going back to the shop where i bought it to claim warranty?

i don't expect them to have ready stock for the ac adapter replacement.

Guys , anyone notice color banding on the LCD since it's a 6-bit + AFRC ?
*
Where did you get the idea the screen is banding?
As far as I know no more banding for android since gingerbread.

Screen on tf as good as the one on ipad if not better.

Asphalt 6 so far no lag for my TF, and it run very smooth ^^.

And my boot time is about 1min 20sec ~ 30sec. No root. All original
*
i installed cracked asphalt6 last time and it's FC halfway through the game.

is it working perfectly for yours?
perhaps because of illegitimate APK, so i uninstalled it.

asus malaysia announced 3.2 is now upgradeable via FOTA.

Good news! Android 3.2 is now upgradeable through FOTA (Over The Air) directly from the tablet.

Major improvements from 3.1 to 3.2
1. Compatibility Zoom: Smart zoom smartphone apps to the native display resolution.
2. Multi-gesture touchpad and touchscreen: use the keyboard dock touchpad in the same way as the multi-touch display.

this kind of thing made me regret that i played with the adaptor, pull out the usb and stuff. sad.gif

that means, i gotta keep on trying and trying until it's working again?

doesnt this come in warranty or something?

sorry if i asked too much questions. kinda disappointed with the fragility of the adapter though the tablet is very good, to me.
*
mine the connector broke a few days after i bought it, went to asus center for warranty but they refused because the adapter can still be use when testing.

of course can use if you pushed real hard but the adapter connector was broken either way.

the only thing i did was pull out the adapter from plug and the connector/pin whatever just broke. obviously it has serious quality issues.

hey. i dunno whether i posted something here. haha. but just wanna share my experience.

i just realized that my 4-month-old transformer couldnt charge. so stupid of me, i didnt charge it until it gave 15% battery alert.

i checked the other topic at android n transformer forum. they said that put in the freezer first, or pushed the prongs inside adapter. now my adapter is in the freezer.

but i was just thinking about something. will the transformer prime have a better charger/adapter?

seriously, the cable now is too short and the adapter easily gets hot.

update:
freezer method is not working. sad.gif(
usb is fine. thinking of changing my adapter...
*
bro, just make sure the adapter is connected with the metal pin correctly.

just push it, and try and error until it works.

when it works, it is advisable to sellotape it around the adapter and make sure whenever you pull out the adapter from the plug, please do it gently because it's very fragile.
