I found out another thing about XiliSoft HD converter. Nvidia converts smoother and less jagged MP4 @ 720p than ATi.

I've tried 6000kbps and 8000kbps converted MP4 720p, Nvidia still provide smooth images while ATi still look jagged.

anyone facing sensor brightness problem?

i think earlier on, some members also mentioned this tablet is selling in jusco or sth like that...

but yes, consider the dock. think of it as an external battery. rm300 for an external battery that lets your tablet last another 6hrs? why not? and honestly, the keyboard really changes the tablet experience.

i never really rely on sensors for the brightness... usually brightness is manually set.

i was one of the pioneer batch... and yes, experience with evernew was not that smooth.

just got backmy dock after almost 2 weeks. Not sure what they did, but the dock dont wakeup feature works and the dock charge my tab now. Is back to normal again, thank goodness.


Not sure if battery drain improved. But early, itonly drain 2% per hour which is not that bad. Hope it can do better now.


just to add, they change the i/o board and the bottom casing.

i feel like sending my keyboard dock to warranty again... after some checking, i notice mine has battery drain issue, and the dock hook is not aligned properly, making it super hard to dock.. but have to wait another few weeks T.T

just sharing... tablet was charged on mon night (or was it tue night?!?). it was powered off... turned on last night (wed night)... tablet was at 94%. dock was at 97%. but of course this is powered off and not on standby/ sleep.

got back my unit yesterday after sent in for warranty for left speaker not working at all. That issue was fixed, now i have a 'shy' left speaker.

Since i was sending the unit in for warranty, tot of getting the screen replaced as well because of light bleeding, turns out , a bad idea, because the unit they replaced was even worst than my first one ...arghhhh!!!

One of the engineer said, all current batch have the same issue. New batch which is expected to come next week will solve it. They ask me to send it in again next week . Just letting you guys know

but the new batch prolly comes with the new main board, and will not be flashable/rootable, if u are using a root device or custom rom, i suggest u halt it right there

my son loves it. the image is HD, so looks good on the TF. the sounds... ok la. would have preferred if it was louder. but maybe coz shy speaker... heh heh...

which asus service centre u went? is it the one in imbi? Also how long do they need to just replace the screen?

May i know in what condition shud i get my dock for warranty claims as i just feel that my dock draining fast and i dun really know how to monitor it? Any easiest way to find out?

btw, anyone know if there's any gps software for the android tablet?
