from what i understand... the shy speakers is a coding error...

perhaps its just that some roms (different regions) have been coded and compiled separately... so some get the problem?

also, i think shy speakers is an issue that unless people really pay attention, otherwise they dun notice it. i've not gone and really tested it... but i am fairly certain my unit has shy speakers (sometimes can hear sound coming from only one side). i dun really notice it coz i do hear sounds -- not sure if you understand what i mean... lol...

anyway, most ppl probably is like me... got sound = speakers fine. but actual fact is... there might be shy speaker issue.

would be just the antenna in the gadget (TF) not big enuff.

i face the same thing at home with my TF and SGS2. the notebook can detect my home wifi with almost full bar. but the TF and SGS2 can only detect about 1 bar.

AP = Access Point... meaning the wireless router/ modem.

not compatible... i guess buy a different brand.

honestly, native browser isn't that nice... ya, i think i had some similar issues as well...

my suggestion -- try other browsers like: Dolphin HD, FireFox, Opera.

i believe it should be similar to paranormal agency.

basically the game requires you to look for stuffs but its got a story line. free version is trial and limited to probably '1st level'.

if you only have 1 apps... then no worries la... nothing much to reinstall.

for swype, i think the version for tablet is still beta. from what i understand, we should basically get a new link/ code to renew.

not sure what happens when it comes out of beta. oh well, its still a nice option for now.

i thought by default, there's an option to lock screen?! under display settings, i think...

the default asus swype isn't as good as the original swype. you can install the beta version and play with it. i'm using that on my TF101 now.

sometimes i do turn off the TF. maybe once a week... or when i know i won't be using it for the next few days.

but i do make sure i leave it on when...
#1. i know there's going to be OTA...
#2. i know i plan to push some apps to the TF (access the market website from office and when i get home, apps is installed)

for me... 12hrs still ok. i prefer standby...

mine is more like 2-3 days... like when i know i'm tied up with some projects and no one else at home plans to use it.

i dun think so... coz tab 10 is a whole lot thinner. i think dimensions are also not the same.

honestly, no idea.

for me... i feel tab10's main weakness is lack of external memory slot.

guys... just sharing... i've been trying out this new browser on my phone. boat browser. seems not bad. if things are like what it is... i might just use this as my new fav browser and ditch Dolphin HD.

might try it on the TF101 this weekend.

some suggestions i can think of...

#1. power down and restart the tablet. then try again.

#2. power down the tablet. try charging while its powered off.

#3. let the battery completely drain out. then try charging -- try with direct to the tablet and via dock

if #3 also cannot... means either tablet for problem or charger got problem.

for #2... i dun think there will be anything on the screen to show charging... if you have the battery widget, it helps...

i think earlier on, some members reported that... (or was it something else). the battery drain fixed it.

try the battery drain. i m quite sure some owner had that before. if after drain still cannot charge, then have to bring to service centre.

best to just leave wifi on, etc... make sure tablet battery go to 0... then leave for a few more hours... then try charging.
