just sharing... my wife and I noticed the TF101 hangs quite often lately. the screen might still be there but touches don't register. we need to put the tablet to sleep (quick press on the power button), then again to bring it up from sleep.

less often but still have encountered at least once a month... the tablet just hang and need to really force it to shut down (long press).

anyone noticed that on their tablet?

of course there's a possibility that this is caused by an apps. I've yet to do factory reset and dread it... still, worst case scenario, will do so. but just checking with others first... to see if anyone else noticed such thing on their tablet.

was just playing around with the TF101 over the CNY hols and noticed there's an apps that comes with the TF101... apps data backup or sth like that... not sure if it backs up the apps as well, or just the save game data...

anyone tried it out yet? i wonder if there's sth similar on the market that does not require root. wanted to try it out... but since i have no plans to wipe the TF101 or move the game data elsewhere, figured it was quite pointless...

but would have been good if i had found out about this apps much earlier... had played "Cut the rope" and progressed far when my son did a reset a few months back. gave up and stopped playing it liao... lol...

ASUS Transformer ICS Update Delayed Until March
http://phandroid.com/2012/02/15/asus-trans...ed-until-march/

Owners of the original ASUS Transformer are still without Ice Cream Sandwich despite expected windows of January and February for its launch. It looks like you guys might have to wait even longer as ASUS Singapore has mentioned that they are now looking at a February/March window, meaning it could be here any time between now and the end of March. That still doesn’t mean much because, you know, it could always get delayed again. We’re still hopeful ASUS will be able to get this thing out before the second quarter arrives. ASUS didn’t provide any details as to why the update was being delayed.

well, be patient... smile.gif

those into RPG like Final Fantasy...

there's Zenonia 4 in English launched recently. tried out briefly on TF101. nice... but honestly, yet to really used TF101 for playing this game. but should be ok... previously played another similar RPG on the TF101 and it's ok.
