Superlfc, i think you should use system update, it helps you to download all the necessary patches and drivers, less hassle.

And how is the viewing angle? wud it be ok for 2 people to watch DVD side by side? Or must u be right in the middle of the screen to enjoy DVD?

yes, i did... have been using thinkpad for years but they are company property. this r60 is my first thinkpad for my own. my company got fujitsu, dell, toshiba.... using them all but still the vote goes to thinkpad. no question ask.

how can u put a thinkpad to a v3010 side by side for comparison anyway? they are not on the same level. tongue.gif

Use both the trackpoint and the touchpad la... IBM has so nicely given us both smile.gif I find myself using different muscles for both pointing devices so when I feel a bit tired I just switch, hehehe....

Still prefer a mouse when I have the space though.

Hi superlfc,

Just a short question is you lappy battery SONY?
Saw you won the bid for the ThinkPad (by the way I'm omni999's brother).
Though of getting one too from her, but what worries me is the battery.

i'll prefer point stick when i put my lappy on my lap using battery, reason is no need to move around palm to surf net tongue.gif the middle button of ultranav plays very important role to scroll the page, u just need to press it then move ur point stick, kaodim, nobody will enjoy point stick if they dunno how to use the middle button tongue.gif

Wtm is your R60 running on T2300E(1.66GHz) or T2300(1.66GHz)?

I did a little research on the two so called "identical" processor and this is what i discovered ...

Read this second

So is the model "ThinkPad R60 9455-A18" sold in Malaysia using T2300E or T2300?
