vcool? i am thinking to upgrade mine too. where u got the ram? how much they sell for 1GB ddr2 667???

who install the ram for you? i saw that the back of R60 is one piece, which is quite different from R50 series.... just a screw to open the ram compartment. this R60 need to open the whole base cover..... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

i dun really go for the system update, some of the utility i din use n size of download is reported incorrectly, it's always recommend to download it manually

windows start up slow might be caused by unneeded software loaded up or memory hugger antivirus like norton, or physical ram is too low, it's more on individual customisation, it's recommended to google how to tweak ur OS
here's the wallpaper i found  tongue.gif

wat i face was, i has the same unknown pci after every driver install, after doin all the windows update, then only able to install the unknown pci device by selecting "yes, connect to internet this time"

hope it might helps smile.gif

Is your audio working? if not, u need to download the M$ high definition audio driver.
Thinkpad does not require notebook cooler, why? because it is thinkpad!!! IBM already design the cooler inside your laptop -- the huge heatpipe connected to your CPU, northbridge.
*
my audio is fine. no problem with that... so, what could b the possible cause?

yeah... ur rite! the lappy is running cool after long hours.... and keep on going with much heat problem....

worth every penny paid!
