weight! CI4 carbon infused materials. CI4 meant for light & UL setups. max 4000 size

Added on May 28, 2012, 9:13 pmI don't have the luxury to own either one. so can't place my 2 cents, based on what I read its like comparing green apple with red. ci4 meant for finesse type of style, fj &fi for heavy load & cranking. supposedly the F is smoother and can tolerate more abusive. ci4 made to reduce cost as mg reels are sky high like stella.

oh yah ci4 doesnt come with spare spool

More weed = more O2 = more baitfish = cover for predator to hunt

Photosynthesis is a process absorbing CO2 and with aprroximately 100terawatts, it will release O2 to the air.

Bro Vng,
Get a powerpro of 20lb or any braided(mark my word - BRAIDED, not FUSED)

as for lures, get a top water, shallow diver and deep diver. Softplastic you can get a pack of 2~3 also. smile.gif

Bro 1Dollar,
Just personal preference.

Fused line tends to be furry after a couple of rounds of abrasion. No doubt it's a good line too. But looking at the furry factor, it doesnt give me much confident to go for at bad abrasion areas. Weedy, kayu mati zones or even potential of larger lurkers.

Just came back from Ocean Sport tackle in pandan indah and they are selling curado 200EG7 for RM 395, too bad its a lefty else i would've grabbed it already.

I think i'm gonna go ahead with this since it's slightly over 200g at 204g and it's well within 400. Now question is whether anyone knows if there's a better deal elsewhere?

p/s: tho i can use a lefty but i would prefer the right hand retrieve.

Ahh I see,.. i did notice that the Fused line does cast better and smoother than braided.
Tying knots and removing bihun also easier. Like you said,.. once the line is damage, its bad. That I agree 100%.

Nope my patriarch is right handed although i think i could actually jerk and twitch better using a lefty but i think there's more variety to choose from righty compared to lefty

Agree,.. think its just matter of getting use to it. Like Rory said,.. he can wank with both left or right.
Guess moving from left spinning to right BC will be a bit susah to adapt. in terms of choices, you are right.

Trying to find jalan for anyone who travels to US often, i am so into the Quantum Smoke and EXO. Ebay prices are so cheap.
But once add shipping into the cost, no point buying.

Sand it down with batu asah, knife sharpening stone. Avoid blunting the tip.

you don't actually need to sand it down...all you need is just a player and when you applied the correct force the barb will come off

Not entirely correct too bro. I have spoken to many fused line lover and still there is not much problem. I guess it all boil down to self preferences. Spoken to Purefishing as well but the test proved that it's still good use. smile.gif

As for bihun, it makes no differences to most BC fellas. Still boleh bukak one biggrin.gif hahaha of course it comes with lengthy unsanctioned vocabulary hahahaha

Bro Viox,
A friend bought one at RM380 le. I guess maybe there are quite some options with a little top up to go for Shimano ranges. Consider lower a little more to avoid lot losses as this reel have been in market quite a while smile.gif
