You misunderstood me, I sent my application in March, and 1 month ago that is around 7th of july, I sent the accommodation dept an email requesting them to grant me the single room stating the reasons why I need it!

Hey guys, got my conditional offer and hope to be there in september Just a few questions, if you guys could help me out..:

1. Im studying Computor Science, any students here who could tell me what the course/lecturers are like?
2. Ive got my accommodation offer for a single ensuite room.. Any details on that would be great..
3. How is the party situation and student life in general on campus? Are there house parties and such?
4. Last but not least, how are the girls out there? All work and no play would be no fun at all lol

I only managed to get a CCC in A Level. I know the result is pretty poor. I am planning to study computer science at UNMC but the requirement is BCC. Is it possible that I will get admitted?

I am really worried because Monash will start their orientation next week. I am considering for not going the orientation while waiting for the offer from UNMC.

What do you guys think?

Luck I would say. You only get an entry if they want to fill up places and willing to take below the entry requirement. There would be instances where they decide to keep the class small and will not admit people below the requirements.

Nope,Monash hasn't start their orientation yet for the August intake. The orientation starts next week for 3 days.

How many days can I actually expect to get a reply from UNMC on the offer? i really hope that I can get a reply by this week because if I did not manage to get a place at UNMC, then I will have to go to Monash.

I am holding a Preliminary Pre-offer for September intake for Chemical with Environmental Engineering.I got my results today and met the entry requirements.But I have not applied for on campus accommodation and live in Subang Jaya. How can I apply for off campus rooms just in case?Do I still need to fill the on campus rooms form?Please help me

If nothing works out with UNMC, you could always go to monash in the february intake yes? Whereas nottingham doesnt have a feb intake for computor science, ive checked..

I have a room for rent for Malaysian Chinese, TTS5, facing the playground (so is very near to the bridge). Air-con, attached bathroom, big and can fit two people in the room, will have 2 PhD students staying (so they are the old birds that know everything about Nottingham) + 1 more person, rental price should be quite attractive I believe. If interested, please PM. BTW, it's legendary because I stayed in the same house before!

Yes I know that. But I would have to wait until February. I would not want to waste months of time doing nothing. However, at the same time, I wanted to give a try at UNMC.

Darn nottingham ! it's been a month already and still haven't received any email from their side regarding the outcome of my application !:'( *kinda hurts really* x(

oh my. I only applied for it yesterday. Actually I called them up yesterday and they told me within 10 days they will give me a reply. I really need a reply as soon as possible because I might want to consider monash.

Give monash a shot so you might have an option to choose from.
Btw monash's next intake is in feb2013.

don't trust the "give u reply in 10 days", they're very slow on this. mine took something like, a month or two.

I called Monash yesterday and they told me I can still apply for August intake and it will be considered as late application.

August intake orientation starts next week
