Who knows I'll end up in Nottingham UK?
SMA UAN is A-Level equivalent (12 years), but it is waaaaaay easier than A-Levels! (I studied both, but ended up NOT doing A-Levels). Even to enter Nottingham, Indonesian students possessing the SMA UAN need to do foundations first.
Why not trying A-Level instead? More reputable and you may apply for other institutions over the world. Admittedly, that takes 1.5 years, but you can do it fast and have it done in a year (since you have SMA UAN as a base already).

Thanks for the reply. but when i look through the advertisement for rooms for rent, i noticed that they say there will be no shuttle bus service to uni from the room. so it's either that i have to walk 5km from the room everyday to uni or i'll have to drive. it's just like Merentas Desa in my secondary school. Is this true?
Which area did they say there's no shuttle bus? As far as I am concerned, the bus service has TTS well covered and that shouldn't be a problem. My advice is to pay a bit premium to stay on-campus for a year. During your first year, there are a lot of things to sort out as you try to make friends, getting used to the studies, club activities etc. You may not want to have more troubles about travelling between your off-campus room and university. Plus, by the end of 1st year, you may have gather a group of friends where you all can rent a whole unit in TTS together. Knowing your housemates is a good thing for better security. Plus, if you happen to have a friend who does same course and have a car, you save the hassles to get to university in the morning.
