QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Jun 15 2012, 08:37 PM) You should be supplied with a table, a chair, a wardrobe, a cabinet (half human height), a side table (for bed) and bed. You should expect to bring your own pillow, bolster (if you use it), blanket, bed sheet along with all personal stuff and stationery. Although there's cleaning service, I also advise you to just bring some simple cleaning agent as you'll probably find the need to clean the room (or some spots) yourself before the service arrives. thanks alot wif ur info

QUOTE(BubblePig @ Jun 15 2012, 03:10 PM) The lecturers of Foundation Eng are actually quite friendly and qualified. They teach in a very appropriate pace and does allow time for interactions between students and the lecturer. However there are a still a small number of lecturers that are different, meaning their teaching methods are different. (i.e. Doesn't teach very well and has less interaction with students, thus leading to failed transfer of knowledge to students.) But that is normal as I believe every university has its flaws. Fear not though, as even though they do not yet have the skills for lecturing a big group of students (Foundation Eng is a BIG group!), all of the lecturers are more than keen and happy to assist you in private when you make an appointment with them and have questions for them regarding the module. Overall speaking, Foundation Eng in UNMC is an incredible experience and I assure you that you will definitely enjoy your foundation year. Written by a previous UNMC Foundation Eng student (: Thanks BubblePig for the reply i appreciate it. Will be looking forward for that experience then

Just email them and you should have your answer. If you have finished your high school and have taken your SAT, you may be able to join Year 1 right away if your result is decent.

QUOTE(vDooZeus @ Jun 17 2012, 08:49 AM) Hi, I'm a spm student and currently in East Malaysia.. Is it possible to travel back and forth daily from Bandar Utama to UNMC? Possible but entirely not practical. You are looking probably 1 hour (or more) of daily driving and that excludes any traffic jam imposed. You are looking at travelling from one end of KL to the other end. The toll fees and petrol cost alone could have rented a wonderful room on and off-campus already, not to mention the fatigue resultant of such driving.

It's not practical too. No LRT here and there is only KTM in Kajang. There is uni shuttle bus can fetch you from KTM to the campus but it needs about 40 minutes. Then how long time you need for Damansara to Kajang? So we suggest you apply on campus accommodation or find a nice room in TTS area!
