Thanks again.=) Most of the time you don't get to choose. But if you really do, pick Redang/Langkawi/Tioman for 5 minutes nearer or Kapas/Pangkor for newer units. Not sure about how the accommodation works now, just follow the advice given by admission office? |

QUOTE(chieying @ Apr 13 2012, 11:26 PM) Okk!But what if i dont have a car?Possible to go there by shuttle bus?Any shopping center or what nearby? If I recalled, the bus shuttle doesn't go to Broga. You can choose to hitch a ride with friends though. Or hire a taxi. I see them once a while at SA waiting for student. The bus shuttle does go to Semenyih town, though I heard the frequency is not very good. There is MyDin and TheStore in Semenyih. Tesco in Rinching. |

The accommodation blocks' carparks are still okay.Best is with car, else you'll be stuck with SA SA SA SA SA. Unless you find yourself a friend with car (what I did in my first year here). |

QUOTE(Persian @ Apr 15 2012, 02:25 PM) Dear tanjinjack, You should have asked about that instead. To me, they are about the same for that. I just don't see a difference between them. That being said, I could be biased because I dislike the small campus of Monash Sunway. That being said, I might be wrong because Monash has a higher international ranking than Nottingham. Thanks for your reply but i mean more in aspect of education quality and academic reputation in Malaysia and abroad. Maybe you can try post in the Monash thread to listen to what they say? Much less hassle dealing with cracks for those software. But if you really are that homie, you don't need a powerful laptop. If you know the simulation will run one day, you will use uni's PC instead, isn't it, unless you think putting your laptop in constant 100% workload for full one day is a small matter. There MUST be industrial training for MEng. It's a must for all MEng (all courses, all UK uni that offer MEng). What do you want to ask? This post has been edited by tanjinjack: Apr 15 2012, 06:45 PM |

QUOTE(Kah Yee @ Apr 15 2012, 10:26 PM) When is the industrial training and how long is it? Do we have to search for the companies or the university will give us a list of companies that we can apply for the internship ? If you're doing 3 years, it's in your 2nd year.4 years, and it's either in your 2nd or 3rd year. The Uni will circulate ads for internship in the email system. Certain society will also organise event where many companies gather. You can also search for internship yourself. You do have to fill up a form regarding your internship when you are done. Prepare your resume well in the 2nd year and/or 3rd year. For the internship, usually you have to apply yourself and you will be competing with lots of other excellent student. QUOTE(ron1230 @ Apr 16 2012, 12:10 AM) Hi jack. You can already get the information for the Nottingham website.I'm tend to join the foundation in business courses. Thanks Business and Management Foundation Candidates with SPM need a minimum of 6 Bs including mathematics, excluding English for Science and Technology, Islamic Studies and Moral Studies They might consider it depending how well active you extra-curriculum activities, or your personal statement, or just how desperate does Nottingham wants your money |
