yes of course. My main purpose for getting tablet is reading ebooks and entertainment (gaming, movies, music, etc)

Usually the ebooks size im viewing are around 150-250 (HD).

choose to install the 7.5 mb update. suddenly while installing screen freezes so i decided to turn off my tab(stupid)... now the screen always on shutdown boot..... recovery mode showing green andriod with warning sign... should i send it back to acer or not?

I thinking want to force shutdown when it freeze during the update too, luckily I don't...

Have you tried hard reset? Press start and volume UP buttons then lock on/off back and forth and wait 20 sec to start android.

This will erase all your data and apps and restore it to factory setting.

BTW there is a reset button on the right hand side too.

thanx... did that already... it just show green android with gears after booting kernel message appeared and suddenly with exclamation mark... sighh.. already contact acer... they told me to send the tablet over.. hope it will recover.. i loveeeee this tablet...

This is only software problem and I believed it can solve very easily by Acer.

if tablet got dead pixel normally acer will change the screen or change the whole thing? mine has 1 dead pixel at the moment. during boot can easily see blue dot on black screen

Did anyone knoe our iconia back cover is made by plastic pr alluminium? I read somewhere it says it is alu but some of them says it is plastic. But the feel is like a plastic paint to look like a brushed metal.

lol...i really doubt it's plastic paint to look like brushed metal...have u tried touching and feeling it??

The feel is different compare to the sd card plastic cover door. Even it cold when in aircon room, not like plastic. I think maybe its a plastic with a metal plating.
