Yes it does. CM7 definitely comes with this feature.

Always use proximity
- Enable to let the proximity sensor lock the screen even if phone is horizontal

This is exactly how it is shown over my device here  thumbup.gif

Wait, after reboot, it works.

are you two talking about d same thing that i do? sweat.gif

i want d option to completely turn off proximity sensor. not only to unable it when in horizontal.
simply put, when i make a call, d screen wont auto lock.
cause my sensor is broken. if screen locks while in call, i wont be able to unlock it and need to pull out battery.

i know d simplest way to know is just try CM myself, but too lazy to nandroid and flash atm..hehe brows.gif

It works bro

Just tried 3x and it seems to work..

BUT IT'S BUGGY.

IF you press Call but put your finger over the sensor FIRST, it will still lock but if you don't block the sensor and let it go to Call screen, it works fine. *Only occurs at start of each call*

doh.gif Nightlies..sigh

Hello guys, after using rom based on sense for almost a year, now I changed to AOSP rom( MIUI XJ) and so far I enjoyed this new experience. Great rom with solid rom development.

But there are problem/bugs in this rom which I hope some of you can help me with,

1) regarding Miui Camera, as I read before, this is well known bug and the solution is new kernel (most recommend ManU kernel) . Can someone help me regarding this matter, I had read it in XDA forum and still bewildered. If u can describe to me in an easiest and simple way because due to my lack of english comprehension? I want to know which kernel is best for me and how should i install it in my Desire?

Thanks for advance....

Guys I'm having a big problem now. I don't know why after I cleared the Media Storage menu (Applications > Manage applications > Media Storage) all my album arts (including album arts of the default preinstalled free songs) disappeared!

Now even if I add other songs from my PC (those which are already tagged by my iTunes and do show the album arts in my PC) no long show any album arts in my Desire. It seems like my Desire is unable to "scan" or "detect" the image of the album art. If my songs are tagged wrongly then why those preinstalled free songs also don't show any album arts.

Help! cry.gif

what ROM are you on?
both will work, just that they have different behavior in cpu voltage control

I'm clueless. I can still play the songs and all but no display art. Just a blank cover with the green colour music logo. How lame.
