I have a charger dock, and i hook it up all the time during my office hour. My question is, if I set the screen to "Never Turn Off" mode, will it bring any harm to the AMOLED (or SLCD for comparison sake) screen?

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Jun 24 2011, 02:20 PM) It will only bring harm (?) to LCD if the images on the screen aren't moving after long hours? I'm not sure. Long as in >24 hrs prolly. Not to sure. Google it up Won't be more than 6 hours a day I guess... as long as it doesn't explode or something I'm fine If it somehow reduces the screen lifespan then screw it, it's >1 year now anyway. I just wanna turn my phone into a mini Twitter machine This post has been edited by samurai1337: Jun 24 2011, 02:23 PM

Okay, on second thought I think I won't leave it on all the time. It can get pretty hot after 30 minutes

I don't think HTC Desire uses Gorilla glass actually
Surprisingly, HTC Legend does
