The typing sensation with the white and black Ducky 9008 is different.. somehow the white feels less satisfying.. Felt softer and more linear although both being same model and carrying the same switch

Thats probably because your black one with browns has been broken in, thereby giving you the impression that is is better
Give your white one a few more weeks, it'll should feel more like your black one in time

Start a WTB thread in Geekhack, or scour Taobao. Need to ask each individual items since some are not in stock even if they are listed

Ebay but you have to know which are double shot. Donor keyboards with double shots are not label with "double shot"
An easy way to recognize one is by the model number. G80-XXXX HXXXX. H means it's double shot

Donor keyboards comes in many forms and more often you have to buy 2 donor boards to make one set of Cherry double-shots.

Thanks for the reply. I just checked ebay and had a look at the geekhack website.. They are so expensive! I might as well just get a set of engraved white PBT keys and put some permanent marker on them.. laugh.gif

Permanent markers aren't permanent.
Yes these keycaps are not cheap. Rm100 per set shipped or more

It depends on how much keyboard poison you have taken. The more it is, the more you are willing to spend tongue.gif

yeap.

For PBT engraved, the price is around like RM130 between more or less.

For ABS Double shot, prepare to fork out RM150~200. depends on how they gonna charge you.

Erm... i have a question about Cherry doubleshots....

If im not mistaken, the Cherry doubleshot keycaps, their stems are aligned abit to the side and in my opinion, wouldnt that be unable to fit on cherry MX boards like Filco, Leopold and Ducky? hmm.gif

Most Cherry doubleshot keycaps will fit perfectly but there are some keycaps that wont fit, namely Caplocks and Spacebar.
Depending on which Donor keyboard, other keycaps might not fit.

Oh..... i see.... meaning the smaller standard one character keys would fit and those slightly larger/odd size keys may not?
