Now no more manufacturer making buckling spring mech keyboards? From what i found, those who used buckling springs, they said are better than MX blue switches...

Buckling springs are really fun to type on. But with the amount of noise they make, you are going to annoy a lot of people if you bring it to the workplace for example, since so many people are used to comparatively lower noise rubber domes.

As to your 1k keyboard, which one are you getting? tongue.gif

I've saw people in some forum mentioning about Filco Otaku and did some search but end up nothing rclxub.gif
Some even mention Otaku as a concept of Ninja or something even more rclxub.gif
So what is Filco Otaku actually?

Oh.... so otaku is completely nothing and ninja got the lettering, but somehow "hides' at the side?
The ninja-style keycaps are printed using same techniques as normal printing? Or just pad-printing?

The description doesn't actually says its p/s2 NKRO but it says the keyboard supports dozens of inputs at the same time (its as good as NKRO).

For USB it clearly states 6+1 KRO. For me, USB KRO count is really important as motherboard manufacturers could phase out the p/s2 in the future (or its already phased out? I have an old comp sweat.gif )

Still have 1 PS/2 slot which able to plug either mouse or keyboard, don't think they will phase out PS/2 that quick.

Kns.. My wireless microsoft keyboard sot gau joe but the mouse works perfectly still. Because my PC is located fairly distance away from my Monitor so wireless is recommended. Any of this keyboard mentioned by you guys have cable long enough around 1.5 meters. Budget is around RM400 for a reasonable good mechanical keyboard. C-zone got for

Think my Filco has more than 1 meter, not sure, gotta check again when i reach home.

Maybe you could opt for a USB to USB extender if its too short.

Max USB cable length without repeater is 5 meters.
Can buy 3 meter cable for about RM15. Don't get too cheap ones, I got one for Rm7 from Tesco, does not work.

Rm400 is a decent budget, what kind of switches are you looking for.
Plenty of sources to get from once you include Taobao in.
If you want local, FILCO/DUCKY/Steelseries/Razer not sure about Xarmor
Wait for Cyclone and you can get Leopold.

Foreign sources, too many to list
