Been reading up on Mechanical keyboard, and got myself interested in getting one! Especially the NKRO feature. Does storm88 knows the store which sells the Ducky 9008 Shine? If yes, I'm interested to know!
At first I set my mind at the Xarmor U9BL-S, which is a Cherry Brown switch, quiet type. But I had to import it myself from US.
I wonder what is the type of switch for The Ducky Shine, and I'm sure buying local is much better than getting it overseas... I won't have to cry if any problem happens to my keyboard

Generally, the jump from rubber domes to Topre is pretty subtle compared to a jump from Domes to Cherry MX/ALPS, so getting a Topre without trying the rest is not a really good idea. If you get poisoned , RM1500 is not enough for keyboards, but if you only need one, take your time to try them out, and see which one you like, since you can pretty much buy any keyboards, except them custom made ones or the Optimus. You type too hard. Try to not bottom out
RM 1500 is more than enough to test out all the Cherry MX switch which is what im doing now. Currently collected 3 switches keyboard which is black(arrive soon ), blue, and brown. Will wait for Leopold red switch im still able to get one
Another thing wanna ask all the mecha keyboard fanatic here Any difference for Ducky and Filco? Both seems to be very similar, and price also around the same. Just that I heard the manufacturer for Filco is also the OEM maker for SS 6Gv2 and 7G.
They had their own good. Ducky has FN media key incurred and Filco does not. Filco had a better quality build for overall although lack of media key since i had ducky and filco too for comparison:)
Just received my Noppoo Choc Blue switch. So far still statistic with it. But the NKRO part is the headache problem FPS keys(WASD), cannot be pressed the same time.
halo!?i already test alot keyboard ok ? just curious why all no sound 1 , and there keyboard didnt let ppl test ? go survey is useless ok?!(i never tried rm100++ keyboard) but if buy wrong how? thats why i ask somebody here,the worker in the lowyat i asked, they aslo dont know , they say use normal keyboard only , thats why i ask here see the cover is useless .can see can not try zzzz
Then you should do some research on what is mechanical keyboard, which is making sound, tactile feel, linear. Read the first post.
You tested alot keyboard? Wonder it is mechanical keyboard or membrance..... Go C-zone ask whether there is still remaining stock.
For you information, currently Malaysia market price is >RM280 for a mechanical keyboard. Or you can order from taobao.com which can get cheaper price.
Heard the PLU-G3000 has an NKRO variant. Uses cherry MX red switches as well. IIRC, a GeekHack member called qtan5370 sells them. Supposedly there is a Malaysian distributor as well: Click Me!
LoL at that price.... Confirm order from taobao and sell it higher price.
