You can get Leopold FC300/500R from our Mr. Cyclonechuah
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2012978

Local warranty, 10% smaller than SS6GV2, heavy enough, nice rubber feet, detachable cable, and much more biggrin.gif
already got myself a red switch version from him, my friend who got a black switch version liked it very much too.

Many people have asked this and the best answer we could give would be to head to a shop with demo units and try them out yourself. There's no such thing as "best switches" for any type of usage, it's entirely personal.

Also, the SS6Gv2 is known for having problems with the keycaps, they tend to fade away after relatively short periods of usage.

Definitely Leopold > SS6Gv2
*
I had my Leopold keycaps "S" "D" "L" start fading. Less than 2 month i guess. smile.gif

No Ducky Shine or Filco doesn't comes with macro buttons, if you prefer macros, you're stuck with Razer, at least locally.

Gaming/typing or not isn't important, keyboard is just a tool.
There isn't such thing as "best" in this world, everything has its pros and cons, if you like something soft, with tactile bump to actually feel you pressed on something, require lesser force to press, brown would be your choice.

As for black, if your finger has muscle, why not go for it? It requires high force for the button to actuate, with no bump and no clicky.

Btw, anyone ordered stuffs from www.wasdkeyboards.com before? They are using 3 types of courier ranging from $7.77, $23.59, $28.90 (all in US dollars), wanted to know which one you guys picked. :S

Eh? You wanna buy stuffs from wasdkeyboards??? I think you can send them an email for inquiries... so far the feedback from GH regarding wasdkeyboard's customer services are positives and fast laugh.gif
QUOTE(storm88 @ Nov 3 2011, 08:02 PM)
For Macro keys, you can use software to do it actually.

for ducky Backlit, there will be few more models touching down Malaysia next week:

Ducky Shining RED LED !!! in Cherry MX Brown and Cherry MX Red
*
Really???? Price still remain the same???

QUOTE(KepalaRadio @ Nov 3 2011, 08:20 PM)
OMG Storm no more poison please T_T I've been thinking of getting a ducky. NOOOOOOOOO MY WALLET !!!!!!!!!!

Btw reds are essentially browns without the actuation point, am i right?
*
Nope, reds are essentially browns without the bump....

I wanna ask whether you are a touch typist or not... and what layout you use for your keyboard...
I dunno whether this is important or not, but since i find it quite vital to me so i might as well ask you too...
You see, different countries have different layouts, the US ones are the standard ASCII layout with the long backspace, long enter and long right shift.. the Euro layout from SS (because i still cant find ASCII layout in SS mech keyboards) have the "big-ASS" enter key and small backspace...

Okay, to cut things short, what i trying to say is if you already got used to one layout (me for one is the US ASCII), you may find yourself kind of difficult to adapt to another layout... especially if you're already some level of touch typist....

If im not mistaken, KBC did mentioned that they will include the white stabilizer inserts into their future keycap packages as standard kit....
So far still not implemented yet... unsure.gif

Just want to clarify. I have filco majestouch 2 cherry brown switch now. If I want to change the key cap, as long as the key cap is for cherry switch then I can put it on my filco? Right or wrong?
