QUOTE(edwardleong @ Mar 4 2013, 08:08 PM) Dior Homme Intenese? badass. I would only spray DHI for short days in class like only 1 or 2 subjects a day (2 - 4 hours worth of class) and then like there's an outing with the chicks. if not, I wouldn't do it lol. however, after a heavy downpour (night), I do find the Dior Homme a nice juice to lepak-lepak with my bros. even at the local malay gerais |

OKAY.. I'm done trolling and joking lol
about that perfume Bro Edward post. I respect's kelthuzad's opinion. however, why are they 'wrong' just because they are cheap? or even made in China, for that matter. I do have a question. or two 1. Prada Pour Homme = Channel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme / some say Chanel Allure Allure Homme Sport (but I lean more toward Eau Extreme) *Prada isn't cheap. but they do smell similar. 2. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille vs L'Occitane En Provence Eau De Baux *according to Astroboy, they're not the same. but ALMOST simalar. Eau De Baux isn't cheap QUOTE(edwardleong @ Mar 4 2013, 08:47 PM) but when there's this RM 30 perfume which smells familar, it becomes wrong? there are so many perfumes that smells like another. Animale Animale = Pure Malt/ A*Men (I have not smelled it. but you get the idea. even if just the opening, still got similarity what) Perry Ellis 360 Red = Giorgio Armani ADG Davidoff = CREED Green Irish Tweed SJ Unforgivable = CREED MI (very very very very smilar. but SJ Unforgivable isn't cheap) so, it's ok to wear perfumes that smell similar to another bottle as long as they are not cheap or not made in China? It might take you longer before you're able to own the more expensive bottle, but it will be worth it when you got it."now i am very sure that the intention of those rm30 frags wants to copy and imitate the real bottles as the word "inspired by" is printed on the box,go to page 123 for confirmation what i was thinking at the same time is that why they dont come out with something out of their own creation instead of rm30 "our version of...."?? i have tried sniffing many at hypermakets and watsons on these imitation perfumes, they smell very different from the scents they wanna imitate,so why tarnish the good name of the real products by taking their name on imitation bottle??because of "i dont care i just wanna make some money"??go sniff them before saying they smell the same. for me,i recognise effort and talent, when something is made from 100% effort,it gets my support, same goes with a bottle of fragrance, when efforts are put in to create an original bottle, imitators just copied the recipe and try to replicate them,i am referring to these rm30 "our version of..." frags, which you woud never know what stuff they add into the bottle,as i have said before this bout the same thing whereby they can harm your health, you really think malaysian health ministry gonna check all this rm30 perfume companies??even non halal restaurants can get a halal sticker at the door nowadays..so since you are okay with buying and using rm30 "our version of" perfume, why dont you just buy fakes??1stly you can save so much money,2ndly they are more similar to the real thing than the rm30 "our version of" frags, lastly you even have the same bottle,so tell me...either you are (a)a buyer who buys fakes as well since they smell similar and no wrong and can save money or (b)someone who doesnt buy fakes, but why dont buy it since your points match fake bottles 100%?no wrong what, they smell similar |

Finally... My parcel has arrived... CDG packaging is somehow cheap...
Sprayed 1 spray of CDG on the back of my hand and it was really epic! I think this should be called as spicebomb, well deserved! Initial opening is so so strong, not for the faint heart...monstrous silage... Few feet can smell it.. All the spices come attack ur nose at once and will cannibalize any other scent wear by ur neighbour. One sniff will caused olafactory fatigue, after 5mins the all the spices calm down abit, and u get the harmony honey stirred using cinnamon and sandalwood Just imagine u walk into an indian spice shop, the boss throw lots of spice powder like nutmeg, clove, coriander etc towards ur face, then only ask u sit down and have a cup of honey with cinnamon stick. it got this enigmatic and medicinal vibe tat really can seduce ppl lol, couldn't stop sniffing my hand... It is a very unique fragrance, nearest comparison would be chanel egoiste w/o the old man vibe.. I can see it can be versatile, just wait 15 mins for it to drydown before u leave ur house If u really love spices, this is the one u must try... Price wise: 140 for 50ml edp, which 1 spray can last u a day... This is my 2 sent after trying out 1 spray of CDG edp Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(ShinKen @ Mar 4 2013, 06:57 PM) I got 2. both on Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme So they are always asking on behalf of their boyfriend only..it wouldn't make me feel complimented either... 1. Compliment Turned Insult she liked it and asked me what perfume is that I'm having on? she likes it. so, SHE WANNA BUY IT FOR HER BOYFRIEND. p/s: her boyfriend and I are close. 2. Insult to Me, Compliment to Many she likes it. and then came the compliment. she asked me what perfume am I wearing? BECAUSE HER BOYFRIEND SMELLS LIKE THAT these girls are sorta close with me in campus. so, if you mean compliment from girls that are not so close in your circle, I wish you the best of luck and may the force be with you. Kenzo Power may be similiar to Guerlain Homme for example, but there are very subtle differences that you can only smell when you wear them side by side. Guerlain Homme is more "green" due to the rhubarb. It's not about the cheapness of the perfume, but its the quality and the concept behind them that matters. for example, A*men and L'instant de Guerlain Pour Homme and Givenchy Play have the same concept which is chocolate, but A*men is more cotton candy artificial vanilla sweetness, L'instant is dark chocolate, lapsang souchong, elemi and sandalwood, and Givenchy play is plasticky chocolate. Dont get counterfeit perfumes because 1) you dont know what they put in there and 2) dont expect them to smell or behave like the original in terms of longevity and the scent pyramid. Just one question. to we fragrance enthusiast, they do matter. Due to our passion in fragrance, we can detect it. but when go out in the public, how many people can actually tell? but there are more people (bigger majority I mean) that just want to smell good. for an example bro Bingbangformula here. he just wants to smell good in campus. "I just want to smell good" is the most common motive on why people buy and wear fragrances. which is why Polo Blue, Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio, Chanel Allure Homme Sport are selling like hot cakes. not many people dig fragrances like we enthusiast do. that is my point. so, they end up buying cheapo made in china or RM 30 fragrances or anything yang sama species like that only because "I just want to smell good", which I as a fragrance lover don't find it wrong at all. I rather them smelling like a cheapo than smelling their stinky smelly body odour which some jerks think it is soooo cool because it is masculine like that. yucks |
